American version of Adolf Hitler': Major Jewish newspaper makes stark Trump comparison

Featured Replies

American version of Adolf Hitler

A historically Jewish newspaper compared President Donald Trump's tactics to a scheme used by Germany's Adolf Hitler before World War II. "Trump has created an American version of Adolf Hitler's 'Dolchstosslegende,' also known as the 'stabbed-in-the-back' lie," the article in Forward said.

  • Obviously true but nobody is saying Trump is literally Hitler. That's reserved for Hitler.  An American version no doubt.

  • Again Einstein. Not literally Hitler.

There I agree with you, to compare Hitler to Trump is beyond madness in any shape or form.

I do note its a crazy opinion piece from the source article. The author has a thing about Comparing Trump to Nazi in nearly all his articles.

Tsk tsk.

Butthole shaming.

My mother had the honor of hearing Einstein speak. I'm certain that Einstein would be very horrified about the rise of fascism in America.

Mussolini was democratically elected in landslides twice (or thrice)? Mussolini was kind and compassionate with an epic sense of humor? Mussolini wrote books explaining mastering the art of negotiation? Mussolini had alot of black friends?

Sounds like yet more laptop denier nonsense to me

Trump is no hitler he’s not 10% as smart as hitler or a decorated combat veteran as was hitler ( do not conflate that statement as in any way shape or form of condoning or liking what that evil criminal did)trump is indeed employing many of the same techniques and ploys as Hitler.thats one of the major reasons people are so angry about him.the hero worship of the strong man( hitler Mussolini) the attacks on minorities the deportations without representation the attacks on the media free speech the corruption of the justice system and judiciary the intimidation of rivals or anyone who disagrees the similarities are striking.ignore at your peril.(OUR) peril.

The article did not accuse Trump of any of those things. If it did, you might have a point - but it doesn't.

It doesn't even compare Trump to Hitler directly, it just says (as clearly stated in the OP) that he is using an American version of Hitler's 'stabbed-in-the-back' lie.

I agree or perhaps a cross of Mussolini and boss tweed tweed was a gang backed politician in the 1880s gangs of New York era very similar in my view.

Is that the gang backed politician that blackmailed Raymond Zhao with his father?

Think the paper is trying to make The Don feel a tad guilty. So he will send Israel more 2000 lb bombs to drop on 20 dollar tents.

Mussolini did not restore freedom of speech and save people from a fascistic woke cult. Comparisons are frankly dumb.

His move to attack the Soviets one of the dumbest decisions ever. His army was great and generals good but he was a fool. Fighting a war on 2 fronts is so dumb.
