Ladyboys are more trouble so double money. It's also a clever way of informing the customer that he has a ladyboy

There is surely a lot more variations we can have on this....in the great varieties we have in 2025 (LGBTQIA+).  Interesting note on a theme though. I Wonder how many surprised looks they have had when confronted with a 200b joiner fee.

Reminds me of the bloke that unknowingly took a ladyboy home, just got to the condo and the electricity went off.  After climbing the stairs to the 32nd floor and the ladyboy disrobes, the lights suddenly come on. Faced with a dilemma, the bloke comes to the conclusion that he didn't climb 32 sets of stairs for nothing. :coffee1:

I just ran a mock booking for this hotel on booking.com for 1 week in December.  (high season)  Plenty of vacancy.  I wonder why.

Read the one from the Golden Crab on Soi 13. It goes something like "we do not cater for customers who bring ladyboys and politely suggest that they go somewhere where their needs are understood ".   The place is always full and the residents love the strict 'no degenerates' policy.

They wouldn't expand that policy to include bar girls though, would they, otherwise, they would be empty.

Why is anyone taking a carpenter to their room?

Thankfully not in Thailand, that is western woke BS, mainly confined to the USA

It's ok to be gay, even if you're a bottom. Tell your family and friends, have a coming out party and be done with it.  The people who have a problem with homosexuals are those who are still in the closet.

That's precisely what they're doing!  Fake tits, makeup and a creepy voice does not a woman make.  Check a katoey's ID, it has their picture as a man and their male name.

Not sure where you got that from, but I'm straight, and in the famous words of Jerry Seinfeld, if one was gay, "not that there's anything wrong with that."

Simply pointing out that many hotels in Pattaya, if they charged their customers a joiner fee to bring back bar girls, many customers would stay at a hotel that didn't charge, me include.

My apartment building seems to have some old Euros who love a bit of the bizarre. I find it hard not to giggle when one walks out with his conquest in the morning, especially when it has titties and a mustache.

Do the old Euros ever walk out funny?  Might call into question who conquested who.

It is not, they wanted to charge me 200 baht.

Quite a few years ago in Chiang Mai I went to visit a friend from England, he was staying with his Thai wife in one room in a hotel and I was staying in a my own hotel room.

At  checkout the reception had added 200 baht to my bill as I had brought someone back to the hotel.

What had happen is we two blokes went out for a few beers , his wife stayed home so when we arrived back at the hotel, I took my key, his key was with his wife so they put two and two together to and made 5.

I soon got the 200 baht cancelled. 🤣
