This is your typical foreigner on our roads in Pattaya.    Reckless, selfish, antagonizing and arrogant.  What a goose.    It was fun to watch him go down 😂

In Buriram they took out a roundabout and replaced it with traffic lights because it was causing so much confusion.

No need to cite far afield.... THe Dolphin never quite worked and the one at Jomtien 2nd Rd and Chaiyaphruek had to be taken out.

Yeah okay....

I've gotten the opposite response from Thai drivers. When I'm driving on a two-lane road and see an ambulance with lights on in my rearview mirror, I put on my hazard lights, slow down, and pull of the road to the left as much as I can. This usually results in honking from the cars behind me as they speed past me. 🥺

I wonder what his employer at Windmill A Gogo thinks of their employee's behaviour? Probably couldn't care, at a guess.

Why did the ambulance stop when he wrecked if they had someone in the back needing to go to the hospital?

Does he manage one of the Windmill gogo bars?

Dave (owner) probably give him a raise. 😂

Yes, I know. I have attended events there.

Thanks for looking up the wiki though. Your post confirms that they are NOT just a "Chinese volunteer service" but more correctly a Thai-Chinese Buddhist Humanitarian Charitable Organization. They provide a necessary service and do good work for the community, like most all of these charitable emergency services in Thailand.

Middle-aged Englishmen on big Honda's? Not so much.

Oh dear, you are insufferable.

Outstanding work and kudos to the cops, confiscate his car and lock him up for a while.

I was in Italy last year and I noticed these ambulances with these monster bumpers on the front, and if a car didn't get out of the way they just rammed into them and slid them onto the side of the road, and it was an absolute brilliant thing to watch. The nimwits in the car just sat there with their jaws open, while the ambulance sped off.

Confiscate his car???

How do you know that he has a car?
He was riding a motorcycle!

Pattaya police have fined an unnamed British man for reckless driving after he cut in front of an emergency rescue vehicle, made an obscene gesture at volunteers and later crashed into a local resident’s motorcycle.

The incident occurred at around 04.30 on 11 August, as rescue volunteers in a number of rescue vehicles, from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation in Pattaya were transporting an unconscious victim, from a near drowning incident, to a nearby hospital. While travelling along Thepprasit Road with sirens and lights activated, a foreign motorcyclist riding a chopper suddenly swerved in front of the ambulance, ignoring warning signals.

Witnesses reported that the rider weaved from side to side and raised his middle finger at the rescue team. Volunteers attempted to get him to pull over, but he accelerated away, eventually losing control and colliding with a local’s motorcycle. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Police from Pattaya City Station were called to the scene and detained the man, who was identified as a British national. He appeared shaken, apologised and was released after agreeing to pay for the damage caused. He claimed he was startled by the sound of the ambulance.

Officers recorded the incident and issued a fine for dangerous driving.

Guess up North we seem to be spared quite a large amount of idiots up here, I cannot understand why the locals put up with it.

I’m superior to you. You don’t tell me what to do. It’ll take a while to rid this mentality.

Straight to immigration and deport the tool ,, stamp up NO RETURN EVER

Unfortunately the rest of us are judged by these morons

This must be one of those guys who moved here to avoid the 'police state', to them laws and rules are draconian, and here in Thailand they openly exercise their inner-teenager defiance of social norms.
