Allow members to option out, not to receive notifications for thumbs down emojis, I don't need to be notified when some idiot bombards me with thumbs down emojis.

Look at this list (below screenshot), 8 in a row on the same thread, as soon as I saw it, I knew some idiot has run threw the thread sending me multiple thumbs down emojis.

I don't need to know that I have received these emoji's.

Every day myself and other members are stalked by 2 or 3 strange people here who bombard us with thumbs down.

At the very least, return the names of members who post emojis, it was there before, you guys need to bring it back. Once these few members know that we can see who they are, I'm sure they will stop.

It's not normal behaviour and it can be offensive, it's definitely antagonizing for some, look through this thread

You have the option to turn notifications off.

In this instance, you should report the situation so that a Moderator can check if its ONE individual "trolling by emoiji"

No we cannot make changes to the platform software.

I still want to receive notification but I don't want to be annoyed by needless notifications.

If you cannot change I understand. Would it be possible to reintroduce names for those who react, as in the past?

I'll report in future, thanks for your reply.

Have you ever considered the reason you are "bombarded" with needless thumbs down emojis....asking for a friend?

I dont think ive ever previously given you a thumbs down emoji, I normally laugh at drivel

YES, I've considered it.

It's because I'm NOT

- a Brit

- on the aged pension

- a Boomer

-  a Thai Basher

Do you fit into the majority here, described above? I see things differently to most here, some can't accept that.

So many here want to complain, moan, whinge and whine about Thailand, I choose to confront these people.

Are you one of those bombarding others here with stupid emoji's?

BTW, I want to receive notifications, I don't want to turn off.

I just don't want to be informed when these many annoying emoji's arrive from these 2 or 3 strange people.

Wow, did you think I was talking about you 🤔, amazing.

I said 2 or 3 people. We have tens of thousands of members and you come out with that comment, outstanding.

Please read the posting before commenting in future, it's what adults do.

I'm NOT offended, I never said that I was offended, I love receiving them.

I reckon I've got one of AN forum highest count, 50 thumbs down on one comment I made.

I don't want to be NOTIFIED when receiving them

You did say they are offensive.

Anyway, now you know you can disable notifications for reactions but keep them for replies. But you also won't receive notifications for hugs or applause - got to take the rough with the smooth.

I said it was offensive and antagonizing for some, as seen in the AN forum thread attached, lots of members are annoyed by these emoji's

Yeh, my posting is regarding what you mentioned but if I disable, I will lose all notifications.

Two or three members cannot give you 50 thumbs down on one post. Try to give more than one emoji reaction on this post of mine and you will find that you cannot.

I just tried to give you three "love it" emojis on your post but only one registered. In fact, I cannot give you more than one emoji as a whole, ie I cannot give a "love It" emoji plus a "thumbs up" emoji; the second one replaces the first one.

Are you perhaps getting a bit hysterical?

You just need multiple identities like Bob.

Or like lamyai3. Do you really have,50 different identities on this forum? As you replied to the post I addressed to the OP, must I assume that SAFETY FIRST is one of your multiple identities?

What I'd like to see is a link, posted by by @SAFETY FIRST, to his post that allegedly got 50 thumbs down emojis.

Looks like the thumbs down guys missed me on this comment. 😂

Maybe they thought it funny.

Nearly 50 emoji's here, all positive. 👍

That's unlikely to happen.

Remember, however, that moderators and admin can see who added an emoji. If you think you are being stalked by emoji then use the report button and staff will take a look and assess the situation.
