That sounds extremely expensive, I paid 1,400 for 12 months in February for a True sim with unlimited Internet and 60 minutes worth of free calls every month to any Thai network.

That works out at 135 baht a month

I also do the same buying a "Thor"

@ 15 mbps unlimited True sim every year since 2020.

First one was 1,595 , paid 1,400 for the last one.

Now though,  i see AIS are selling unlimited @ 30mbps for 1600 with free unlimited calls to all networks

Do you have a link to that thanks?

I use AIS ,10MB, I pay 1800  baht once a year, never been a problem*777*7329#.

You will not find this on the AIS Websight, been using this for 4 years now, this year AIS sent me an SMS to remind me to renew the package.

I have a True sim my wife got for me, 160.5 baht a month. As i understand it, free calls (Thailand) and not aware of any data limit. As mainly used via WIFI, never had a problem, but do get a data warning at 2GB.

Isn't that only unlimited Social Media, or does it work with all sites?  If its universal, that is indeed an impressive deal.

Likely nothing to do with the SIM base pack, but a description of an add on applied many years ago.

To be honest, I don't remember such a package being available, as I have the package described, but it is Unlimited 10 Mbps, not 15 Mbps. Unlimited any network calls up to 15 minutes duration and unlimited WiFi Hotspot usage. 200 baht. Unlimited 10 Mbps without the free calls, 150 baht. Unlimited 4Mbps with free calls 150 baht.

AIS Marathon SIM used to be 15 Mbps and Unlimited, but that was a long time ago.

Perhaps @Jeff the Chef can clarify.

So then there is a data limit. 2GB and then slows down. Hardly Unlimited. Just marketing.
