As a practical matter, I'm wondering what he stands to "win" even if he prevails in any lawsuit.

The satisfaction of getting a minimum wage worker disciplined, fined or sacked.

Muban security guards are about a useful as chocolate fireguards. all they do is eat, sleep and play phone.

Just for the record, 'Moo Baan' is the correct term.

Would you willingly let a total stranger on to you our your wife's property, without any permission being granted?

He wasn't a total stranger, he was a known security guard.

How do you know?

Bob, on this thread from last year you found security lacking, why do you think they are now so vigilant?

Bob gets absolutely feral the second you remind him of any of his twenty to thirty odd old AN accounts. He struts around acting like some criminal mastermind pulling off new secret identities, but in reality he’s just that kid who thinks hiding behind the curtains at a dinner party makes him invisible. The moment you bring up his past usernames, you can practically hear his fragile little fantasy shatter like a Dollar Store wine glass.

But hasn’t he recycled the security guard topic more than thrice already? There was also that one he posted where he’s prancing around his house naked when a security guard shows up at his door, no?

He’s not even original at this point, just rerunning his own embarrassing material like a sitcom nobody wanted renewed.

You don't want strangers barging into your property ?

Then lock the gates with a key and have an intercom and CCTV all over.

Issue solved.

Did you have the landlord's permission to cut the tree?

What size chainsaw was used? Did it exceed the legal limit on bar length ?

So many questions need answering before anyone can begin to answer you correctly.

More info, please. 😀

To answer the question vaguely, it really depends if the guard felt there was danger to person or property, then yes he can act accordingly.

I don't think anyone can simply walk on without notice. Even if it was a rental the tenant needs to be notified in advance. If it were deemed an emergency security would need to have police or fire department present if the renter refused access.

Security is stupid here. I learned that one a long time ago.
