His most dangerous assignment was when he worked as a guard at the Guantanamo Bay facility in occupied Cuba. Yes, he went to Princeton. He benefited from the DEI provisions that facilitated the entry of marginalized people, This is an inconvenient truth that those opposed to DEI initiatives  don't want to hear about.He earned his diploma just like any other student, although he was accused of plagiarism.

 

Gabbard left the Democrat party when she realized that people were not accepting of her version of crazy. The fact is that her actions since becoming a cabinet member demonstrate incompetence. The cabinet secretaries I referenced are not good. There is no denying it either. They will self implode at some point.  They usually do.

Once you appoint people by religion, ethnic roots or gender - you just made the biggest mistake ever. The most qualified person for the job should be doing it; irrespective if gay, black or Christian. 

Having said that, it is doubtless still there - the racism in the United States - more so than in most other countries. On the other hand you do not want to be caucasian in certain African states and in Thailand, Westerners are called dirty and alien in official statements and language. 

So one would have to ask Trump and his staff responsible for personnel on the issue but stop finger pointing at anybody unless there is justified (in capital letters JUSTIFIED) reason.

I suspect that South Africa's cabinet is almost all black. I know that ALL of Thailand's cabinet are entirely Asian Thais. Therefore the news about Trump's cabinet is not surprising in a majority white country with no DEI hires.

Chatting with an Aussie guy I met on a flight, he asked me something about Jeanine Pirro.  He didn't believe that she was real, he insisted it was act, like an SNL character, because she was too 'out there.'  I assured him she was real, but in the end he wouldn't believe it.  I first saw Ann Coulter a few weeks after 9/11 while channel surfing.  Didn't know who she was, I thought it was a comedy skit (she said "swarthy men shouldn't be in this country -- yuck! who needs them?"), so I understood what this guy was saying.
