Korean Man Charged After Attacking 81-Year-Old Brit

Featured Replies

These old pensioners are bored and like to stick their nose in everything, need to just mind their own business like we do when they scoop up people's food court leftovers to save money on food.

  • Wayne should have known better than to interfere in someone else's dispute. At 81 what did he think he could do?   Mind your own business folks, there's a lot of crazy people out there!

  • Korean d bag tough guy, attacking an old man.  How pathetic.  Send him back.

  • Indeed.  Now all he needs to do is to barfine a woman who then turns out to be a well-endowed man and his week of misery is complete!

Perhaps he speaks Thai and thought he could act as translator and defuse whatever was going on.  I seriously doubt he went in with dukes up.

The victim, identified only as Wayne, an 81-year-old British national

Is this the same Brit, 81yo, Wayne from Udon who had his trike stolen?

At 81 you should be avoiding trouble, one punch and fall and you've got a broken hip.

Walk quietly, you're too old to fight any more.

I think I know that guy Lee. His sisters first name is Ug

He explained that he had noticed a Korean man speaking loudly to a Grab delivery worker and approached, thinking there might be a dispute. Instead, he was punched in the face.

81 years old and hasnt learned to mind his business

Why oh why do these people feel the need to get involved in <deleted> that doesn't involve them? They are just like these idiot sheep that are hugging refugees and kiddy fiddlers back in the UK.

Must be a sad life to cower away from opportunities to help people out, especially if you have language skills that could help defuse a situation.

I'd fault the guy if he rushed in with dukes up (at any age, never mind 81), but I doubt that was his intent (or his approach).  Maybe I'm wrong, but I suspect the guy speaks Thai and simply wanted to help.

Mind your own business. On your bike, Wayne. Oh. I forgot. He had it nicked. Life's not much fun, is it. Your luck is on the wane, Wayne.😉

If you read the last few sentences of the article, you might find out.

He may get run over by his missing bike, then he can really say his week is crap :whistling:

You know the lower the intelligence the quicker they are to just throw hands.

Your 81 bro, maybe let the younger gen handle it.  Seriously, could have fallen back knocked your head on something and had a fatal accident.

Hope you heal quickly but you've got to do a better job of assessing the situation and knowing your environment

He is a "Do-Gooder" in his community and I'm glad we have people like this !

He would be the type to HELP you

First, there are NO Koreans living in Udon Thani.

Second, no Korean would kick the shcnit out of someone, esp an old Brit geezer.

Agree 100%. Mind your own business. In the words of the song:

"Walk on by......"

How did he "interfere"?

I guess we can presume that Wayne was trying to explain to Kim Jung Kung Fu that speaking loudly doesn't work here.

You could assume that, wrongly, but there's nothing in the report to support your presumption, just the opposite in fact...all he did was look.

As everyone who actually read the OP would know, he did not involve himself, at all, as the Korean  <deleted> confirmed.

He intended to be of help.

The chap in the story seems to have a similar attitude to you. And in the last week he's had his bike stolen, and received a whack. Maybe it's therefore not the wisest lifestyle choice.

It however seems incredibly strange that he was so unprepared for the confrontation as I seem to recall in his previous article he said that he didn't want to meet the people who stole his motorbike in case his Muoy Thai skills got the better of him...

The OP clearly stated that he is the same person.

I’m very sad about losing my vehicle because I loved it so much,” Wayne said. “I enjoyed driving around Udon Thani in my free time, just to feel the breeze and see the city. I hope the police can catch the thieves and bring back my beloved bike.”

Wayne, who works locally as a translator for a law firm, added that while he is grateful for police assistance, he does not wish to meet the suspects if they are caught, admitting with a wry smile that his Muay Thai and boxing skills might get the better of him.

Maybe a bit deluded with his fighting skills and looking for an easy victory over an assailant with an accredited small penis. Typical Liverpudlian

Read what I quoted, im only responding to what the article states. You are just making your own assumptions not even going off the article

If he wasn't there, the Korean couldn't have punched him!

He didn't get involved, as the Korean confirmed.
