  • Lock him up. He already wriggled out of the first try. No bail, no appeal, like monopoly, "Go straight to jail".

  • He will not serve one day in a prison cell.

  • Well you could knock me over with a feather at this time. No way I would predict this.I thought he was tipped off and all was okay for his return. Now lets see if he (actually ) spends time in a

Sure! Is he really going to take one for team? 😂

Only fair, the team has always taken one for him.

Or escorted over the border. I am sure AI can arrange some photos/vid of him behind bars.

He will spend his 12 months in a 5 star apartment, police will make sure of that.

Throw the key away or will it be appealed of course it will be will never ever see inside a prison cell

Should spend a year in the prison kitchen serving the other prisoners.

I whole heartedly agree with the Thai Supreme Court ruling on this matter.  Whether Thaksin actually serves the one-year sentence is something I'm not sure will happen.  Thaksin, and others like him, always seem to have a way to slip out of these things.  Perhaps he might spend a little time housed in a 5-star penthouse somewhere complete with maids, cooks, etc.

Wow!

So now there'll be an appeal process? And further Get Out of Jail cards to play, including air navigation matters ...

He's been remanded. No bail.

Not a surprise since there is no appeals from the Supreme Court... only constitutional issues to the Constitutional Court (of which I am hard pressed to find any myself).

What is the over/under that he spends less than 10 days in the big house?

Keeping vigil here until the great man is released on house arrest or pardon

You forgot to add ''This is Thailand''

I can just imagine you on your bar stool putting the world to rights to anyone within ear shot.

Who knows, but suspect it will be a little longer than that, but not the full year, no.

Good, but let's see if he actually serves a day in jail.  I suspect he'll get house arrest using age, status, and prison crowding as an excuse.  If he actually does go to jail I'd love to see pics of his prison cell--doubt it will be the usual cell.

A ttypical cell measures 1.5 x 3 metres (5 x 10 feet) and sleeps five inmates, side-by-side on dark blue mattress on the floor.

I'm sure he went in the front door and straight out the back door and told to shut up so on one knows,,Brown envelopes full of cash.

Did not see that coming.......still only 1/8th of his original term.

Apparently, parole is no longer applicable and it would be extremely unusual to receive a second pardon from the king.

His only way out would appear to be another medical episode, which is really pushing his luck.

He will either appeal and this time wear a ankle bracelet and serve his sentence under home arrest or be put in a luxury cell complete with Internet ect and get months off for good behaviour, option 1 will probably prevail as they will argue that it's to dangerous to put him in the Hilton as someone might try to harm him.

Either way this move is to keep him out of the political spectrum as planned by leaky recorder.

This gives them time to install a new government,

Wow they staged a war to get rid of his clan and install a drug dealer

And you will be fined 2000Bhat for failing to wear a helmet

No special cell, baloney, if that's the case house arrest wins.

Let's see who is right

Wow, imagine that as a reality for x amount of months/years. Absolutely horrendous.

Inmates in Klong Prem do not have to wear prison clothing except when they have to be outside the prison.   Basic clothing (civilian) is available for purchase (and wear) at the prison shop.   Ask me how I know.

You would never be allowed near convicts like Thaksin.

The strip search is actually a reality...in front of everyone else waiting for registration.

For you, yes. You know nothing about how very rich people are treated.

How would you know what or where he will stay there or anywhere else over time? Got an answer or just googling info?

He has been a common prisoner and thinks he knows all.
