Another silly potty mouth rant. If a family member wrote this bs I would organize an intervention. Never mind if they wrote such nonsense multiple times daily for years.  Oh well🤣

I doubt the monstrosity will even be finished before President Newsom has it bulldozed down and dignity restored to the People's House in January 2029.

As we heard this week, "A President can do whatever he wants", and undoubtedly President Newsom will want to remove the eyesore of a "ballroom".

The goal is to make money anyway, so even if Trump is still alive in 2029 (doubtful), he'll have an additional $50 million in his pocket from the construction.

Estimates are that it will cost $300 million, and "donors" have already put up $350 million. Trump claims he'd make up the difference from his own pocket, but that's his typical bluster. He's aready $50 million in the black, and of course there is no way he'll return the "donations".

Thank you so much for this. I was already pretty happy tonight but this really puts me over the top.

President Newsom. Oh man. Hehe he im loving it.

It would sort of be like if you demolished your house and rebuilt it and told the building inspectors to go F themselves. Sadly, he will probably more or less get away with it. However, it appears he doesn't have the funds for this $250 million dollar boondoggle ballroom. What concerns me is that even if it goes to plan, it won't be done until AFTER the 2028 election and that's if he has no delays. I find it hard to believe he would put so much into this project if he wasn't planning on being the president post 2028, which of course is completely illegal. Things are going to absolutely explode in this country if he finds away to remain as president past this term. We'll know a lot more about his intentions during the 2026 midterms which I very much expect him to try and cheat because I think the Repubs are in for a drubbing. And to be clear, I am not a Dem but I think Trump is a disgusting POS.

What's funny is the East Wing is where the First Escort Lady keeps her office.  I guess that woman will have to find someplace else to do what she does, whatever she does, if she does anything at all, besides try to stay away from her (small kitten grabber) mushroom boy.

What happened to her great Be Best Project? I'm sure all the files and plans and mock ups of what ever that banal project was were housed in the East Wing, now lost to history and posterity. How will we recover from that loss!

Great place to entertain visiting heads of states.

More practical than Obama's basketball court, or a previous incumbents bowling alley.

As I understand it, the President is paying for it and not the taxpayer.

It will be a great legacy.

Agreed.. It is his right as well as any President that moves into the WH to redecorate or refurbish the WH to his desires. Every President does it. What gets me is these anti-Trumpers who lie and say tax-payers and the government are flipping the bill to do it. Complete lies to try to show their justification to hate Trump more. The ballroom is actually a good idea given the dignitaries that come to the WH. A ballroom sets a relaxed setting to socialize with other leaders. Which in turn may also lead to easier negotiations when they have their meetings with the President.

It really irks me the Dems demeaning themselves and showing complete ignorance by spouting it is being built with tax-payer money. When all the news is clearly saying it is not.

When the project was announced in late July, Trump assured it “won’t interfere with the current building.”

“It won’t be — it’ll be near it but not touching it,” he said at the time.

Come on Jerry. Cut old Trump some slack. He even thinks he stopped the Rwandan Genocide in 1994. Dementia is a cruel demon, and Donny is sinking faster than a Mafia Don wearing cement scuffies in the East River.

He simply forgot what he promised back in July, like he forgot which wars he stopped. I mean Cambodia COULD HAVE attacked Armenia.

Its legal.

Hahahahah. You lost. Trump won.

Is the White House demolition even legal?

No. BTW it's the East Wing of the White House (not the White House) which is going to be rebuilt.

I seem to know him better than most Americans who don't seem to have a clue about who the guy truly is. I worked as a commercial real estate broker in New York City during the 1980s and had direct dealings with several folks who had sold buildings to Trump. The stories from all of them were the same. All nightmares. And the stories about small contractors getting ripped off were all the same. Atlantic City has never recovered from the devastation that Trump brought to that town. He is a one man wrecking crew. And now he's doing the same to America, diminishing it by the day.

This says it all.

It's hilarious to watch the left lose their mind over this renovation.

Anyone who reads my posts knows no one hates that man more than I do, but this ballroom thing, while boorish and tasteless, is something to just ignore.

I project that the first Dem to promise to tear down the gilded POS and restore it to its original dignified form will be the next POTUS.

Do you really think it's about the ballroom?  Or maybe it's the secret squirrel stuff built under the ballroom?

A little-known or under-discussed fact about the presidential ballroom being constructed at the White House is what’s located beneath the East Wing annex: the main underground presidential bunker, known as the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOC).

That may be the reason they don't want the plans to be discussed ad nauseum for all the world to see.  Apparently, it hasn't been upgraded in decades, so they're probably still on AOL dial-up.  And obviously, they don't want the world to know just how bad it is...

Trump  is ruining America.

Ruining the white house is a key symbol of that.

It’s completely legal.  Best part it’s not costing the US taxpayer a dime.

Unlike Obamas basketball court, Nixons bowling alley,  Jackie O’s complete remodel and all the other former Presidents projects.

It’s only an issue now because Trump’s doing it.

Absolutely no other reason.

He is going to run afoul of the local building codes.

What difference does it make.  I'm a US citizens - and I personally could care less.  This has a absolute zero effect on me.  It must be living hell to allow Trump to live in you mind rent free.

Post your evidence.  Or it’s just verbal diarrhea.

Bribes?  Specifically from who to who and for what reason?

You must have privileged information.  Are you CIA?

You mean just like every president takes to build their presidential libraries?  Your syndrome is showing.  Again.
