In the same poll -- 62 percent said the nation is headed in the wrong direction (asked BEFORE the government shutdown).

And 56% take him for a dangerous dictator.

Hell yeah, it really seems like the US population are getting smarter by the day.

  • Wow, that leaves 44% of Americans who'll vote for him. Enough to re-elect him.

  • PRRI did this poll and it receives funding from leftist foundations and is rated as left by AllSides and overall, the report prioritizes a narrative critical of Trump, making it biased rather than ful

  • The left's propaganda is getting tiresome.

Exactly why Sharia law will never come to America.

It’s much closer to reality in the UK and EU. Liberalism will ensure the final nail in the coffin.

Certainly glad Churchill and Thatcher didn’t to witness this tragedy.  It would break their hearts to watch their beloved England fall to the Muslims.

Naturally, you and your types are perfectly Ok with it.

The rest of your reply is incoherent jibberish.  When was your last cognitive examination?

UK will fall first to Islam, and may take a little long for the USA, but it is inevitable.  All Empires face destruction from within :coffee1:

... "In 2023, Dearborn became the first Arab-majority city in the US. The 110,000-person city is home to both the Arab American National Museum and the largest mosque in North America. It's one of the few US cities whose mayor is both Muslim and Arab, the first US city to make Eid a paid holiday for city employees and one of only a handful of places in the country where the Islamic adhan (call to prayer) is allowed to be broadcast from a mosque's loudspeakers. It is, as one local told me, "the motherland away from the motherland".

Today, it offers travellers an enticing opportunity to eat their way through the Middle East, so to speak, while exploring how Arab Americans have shaped the city – and the nation."

“We don’t have Sharia law “  too overwhelming to comprehend?

Maybe a private doctor vs government doctor would be a better choice.

Start spending some of cash.  💰 You can’t take it with you.

Which I assume is why so many people voted for him

Actually, when Project 2025 was revealed, Trump had to quickly signal his lack of support for it because of its great unpopularity. Of course, once he was elected he put most of it into effect.

And, as had been noted, his supporters took him seriously but they didn't take him literally.

Like all leftists, you have to resort to deception.

Trump said he did not know about it, he did not say he did not support it.

Fortunately, his staff knows about it, and they are doing what they can to get most of it implemented.

What do you not like about Project 2025? I think most of it is great! I'm looking forward to Vance and Project 2029.

The current Supreme court session is just beginning where many of the Trump Executive Orders based on Project 2025 are being challenged.

Given the Court is in Trump's pocket, these should all just be rubber-stamped, yes?

Like most people who resort to stupid generalizations, you don't have much use for looking deeper but take things on faith. Here's an article from Newsweek dated Sep 4, 2024. And here is Trump's gaffe:

When asked about Project 2025 on Lex Fridman's podcast, Trump again said that he knows "nothing" about it and that he "purposefully" hasn't read it, but moments later, added that it contains some proposals that "everybody would like."

I remember that one at the time -- the Project2025 pdf on the Heritage website is 920 pages and not yet in comic-book format.

Which only shows that you were lying when you claimed: "Trump had to quickly signal his lack of support for it because of its great unpopularity."

But keep lying lefty, it's all you have.

Not a liar. I did get it wrong when I said Trump disavowed it. But I got the important part right when I said he lied about not knowing about it. Which was an obvious lie. One that you fell for. You're a typical gullible right winger.

I've fallen for nothing. I like most of project 2025.

You lied got it wrong again. He did not say he did not know about it. That he said he purposefully did not read it, proves he knew about it.

I can't believe you just said that. The topic was about Trump lying to get elected because Project 2025 was very unpopular. Who cares whether you liked it or not. Typical obtuse right winger.

I can believe you'd say anything if it furthers your leftist agenda.

Why do you only care about Trump lying? Why do you not care about all the people (including you) that are lying about Trump?

Why did you not care about all the lies Harris was telling to get elected?

Harris was not Trump and is a leftist, that was enough for you to support her.

Trump is not Harris, and not a leftist, that's enough for me to support him.

Because Trump's lie was a massive one.

And once again, who cares about who you support? The issue was Trump's lie, not how you feel about it. Go share your feelings in some right wing therapy group. It's got nothing to do with this.

Then again i know a handful of Americans who think it was a  stupid idea to build Windsor Castle  (built in 1070),  so close to Heathrow Airport..

So who do you think is better for the USA, Harris/Biden or Trump?

Harris/Walz obviously.

Biden wasn't on the ticket.

Nobody is saying Harris was perfect but compared to Trump who is trashing American democracy, it's economy, health care system, and traditional ally structure, you'd have to be in  a CULT to rationally think differently,

Trump's latest fascistic outrage. There are of course thousands so impossible to keep up with all of them.

Allowing student loan forgiveness EXCEPT to U.S. citizens with records of opposition to the maga fascist movement's policies, including just attending peaceful anti-Trump protests (which is protected under the constitution). Trump has no regard for the rule of law or the constitution.

You keep having to lie to say Trump lies about it. Trump never said he never heard of Project 2025.
