'He hates our country!' Keir Starmer exposed

Former Prime Minister Liz Truss has accused Keir Starmer of hating Britain and dismissed his patriotism claims as "a joke." This follows Starmer's assertion that Labour is the "patriotic party" and his support for flying the England flag. Truss criticized Starmer's alignment with international institutions, suggesting he dislikes the country.

In an interview with the Daily Expresso, Truss accused Starmer of coming from a leftist tradition critical of Britain. She also defended Nigel Farage, whom Starmer labeled "unpatriotic," amid claims that free speech is threatened in the UK. Truss cited the arrest of comedian Graham Linehan as evidence, despite police later dropping the case.

Truss claimed that international observers are shocked by incidents in Britain, equating them to Soviet Union tactics. She praised the US and Donald Trump for resisting authoritarianism, expressing a desire for US assistance to guide Britain. Despite her departure from office, she expressed openness to returning to politics and has been active internationally.

Starmer has positioned Labour as champions of "patriotic renewal," criticizing other parties for allegedly wanting Britain's failure.

Key Takeaways

  • Liz Truss criticizes Keir Starmer's patriotism, calling it insincere.
  • Truss cites concerns over free speech in the UK as a current issue.
  • She praises US initiatives against authoritarianism, hinting at a potential return to politics.

Lizz Truss, the most disastrous PM of all time (and she had a lot of competition around the same time), desperately trying to remain relevant.

  • Popular Post

Quit while you're ahead, lady.

Who holds the record for shortest term as PM?

Like her, Truss, or loathe her, she makes a good point.." free speech is threatened in the UK. Truss cited the arrest of comedian Graham Linehan as evidence, despite police later dropping the case."

No, she doesn't make any good points. She is merely trying to remain in the spotlight and trying to emulate fog-horn Farage.

What did she or the Tories do to enhance free speech, and why were people still arrested for online hate under her "leadership" (although that word seems wrong)?

It is bandwagon jumping, something she has leaned from the master bandwagon jumper. It is embarrassing watching these old has beens trying to emulate him.

Oh, and the Online Safety Act and the Malicious Communication Act were both dreamed up and passed by the Tories, not by Labour. So tell me again what "good points" does she raise?

She was a waste of space but that shifty shyster Starmer is on a whole ‘nother level. He’d have been hung, drawn & quartered not long back.

Er,  the prize for the most "disastrous PM of all time" was awarded to Blair in 2003 for his "weapons of mass destruction" speech.  In more normal times, someone who was caught in a lie to the House of Commons was duty-bound to resign.

Nice deflection, but let's stick to facts instead of ad hominem snark – Truss nailed it on Linehan's arrest.

Armed cops at Heathrow for tweets? Case dropped, but the chilling effect is real – even Met chief Rowley called for law clarification.

Tories did act on free speech:

Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023: Mandated unis promote it, fined "cancel culture" – Labour halted it, now weakly reviving.

Pushed Bill of Rights (scrapped by Truss for focus, but aimed to curb ECHR overreach on speech).

Patel/Badenoch fought Online Safety Bill's "hurt feelings" clauses.

Arrests under Tory "leadership"?Malicious Comms Act 1988: Labour's Thatcher era – Tories just amended for electronic (2003).

Online Safety Act: Tories passed Oct 2023 (Sunak) for child safety, not speech policing – Labour's now enforcing the "Orwellian" bits.

Arrests spiked post-riots (2024), 12k/year . Linehan? Overreach under existing vague laws both sides ignored fixing.

Bandwagon? Truss/Farage highlight a crisis Labour's worsening – even Streeting admits laws need review.

"Has-beens"? They're voicing what you're dodging: UK's speech arrests (30/day!

are a joke. Fix the laws, not mock the messengers.

While Lettuce tries to stay relevant by making ludicrous statements, anyone who doesn't know their history may be forgiven for forgetting what Labour has done over the years. The Labour Party won the General Election in 1945, basically booting out Churchill and the Conservatives, seen then as the party of war. Soon after, they introduced the

  • National Insurance Act, 1946
  • National Health Service Act, 1946
  • Established the NHS in 1948 providing free healthcare at point of use
  • Set up the National Assistance Act, 1948, to cover the poor

Labour’s reforms provided the foundation for the modern British welfare state, paid for through taxes (it was never "free").

Meanwhile, after entering power in 1951, the Conservative Party of Lettuce introduced... nothing.

Liz Truss, the 49 day PM who destroyed the UK economy in that short period.

She is now making comments that show just how much of a ???? she actually is.

This is the kind of nonsense that seems to be doing the rounds on a regular basis nowadays.

Certainly not the country I left 25 years ago.

... most international observers are both shocked and amused at what has happened to the UK, which has made itself a laughing stock more than anything else. And that largely due to what she and her ilk did to it from 2010 onwards.

She is however herself also merely a symptom of a declining country still stuck in the 19th century. The real problems are not even being mentioned, never mind addressed.

Whinging 'I'm more patriotic than you and you're not patriotic at all' is the modern day UK version of arguing about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

The Open University gave me the chance to earn a degree having left school at 15 without even a CSE. I graduated at 51.

The Tories have also completely ruined that Labour installed institution.

Best heartwarming story of the year.

He is a leftie, they always hate their country.

Whilst Truss did do a fail, she's right about who really controls the UK... basically the BoE governor, police chief, and the civil service with elected MPs having little influence, hence nothing ever changes regardless of who is elected.

Only way to change things is to fire everyone and rehire different people because the rot has gone too far and the left has infected every part of government, so that it pulls the strings of the marionette without you even realising it.

As for Starmer...

Truss is absolutely right. He hates Britain and he hates the British. Especially the working classes.

On the bright side, I see Labour collapsing after this term just as The Tories did. I don't think they will ever be re-elected to power now that the British public has seen what's really behind the mask. They are truly disgusting.

Truss is deluded. It's as simple as that.
