A Russian tourist has been arrested in Patong, Thailand, for public intoxication and disorderly behavior. The incident occurred this morning, November 13, near a busy roadside canal on Sai Nam Yen Road in the Patong subdistrict. The 43-year-old man was reportedly under the influence and acting aggressively.

Authorities responded to calls about the man's disruptive behavior, which alarmed both pedestrians and local vendors. He was found near a canal beside a gold shop, shouting incoherently. Taken into custody without incident, he was charged with consuming alcohol to the point of intoxication and causing a public disturbance, which falls under minor public nuisance offenses.

The suspect's arrest has been documented and sent to the investigating officer for further action. Police emphasized the importance of maintaining public safety, particularly in tourist-heavy areas like Patong, and noted the impact of such behavior on local businesses. Local authorities are focusing on preventing these disturbances, especially as similar incidents involving intoxicated foreign visitors have increased recently.

Officials urged tourists to respect local laws and warned that disruptive behavior would not be tolerated. They stated, “Patong is a world-renowned tourist destination. We want everyone to enjoy their time here safely. However, those who violate the peace will be held accountable.” The Russian national remains in custody as investigations continue, with no injuries or property damage reported, reported The Thaiger.

What an amazing opportunity to view these creatures in their natural state, notice the moist patches on his jeans, this is used to attract females of the species, the smell of stale beer and urine is almost guaranteed to attract a mate, and if you are very quiet you can visit the local beaches late at night where their mating rituals can clearly be viewed,

maybe Attenboro' will make a documentary.

Well, I sure hope he does not come to my fair city of Pattaya and ruin Pattaya's reputation as a family destination resort...

The topic of this thread is public intoxication. Slurs against Russians collectively were removed, as were off topic slurs against Isrealis.
