Trump Blasts Sadiq Khan as 'Disgusting Mayor' in Fresh Rant

US President-elect Donald Trump reignited his feud with London Mayor Sadiq Khan on December 9, 2025, branding him a "disgusting mayor" and "disaster" in a Politico interview. Trump slammed Khan over immigration policies, claiming he was elected due to mass migration and accusing him of turning London into a "different place" amid "decaying" Europe.

The rant echoed far-right tropes on immigration, with Trump criticizing European leaders as "weak" for failing to control borders or end the Ukraine war.He suggested Khan, of Pakistani origin and Muslim, benefited from immigrant votes, tying into "great replacement" narratives. This isn't new—Trump has called Khan "horrible" and "nasty" before, clashing over issues like crime and protests.

Khan hit back, dismissing the attacks as typical Trump bluster and focusing on London's diversity as a strength. No. 10 denied failing to defend Khan, stressing UK-US ties despite personal barbs. The comments come as Trump prepares for his second term, hinting at pulling back from Ukraine aid and pushing aggressive immigration stances.

Analysts see it as Trump signaling to his base, using Khan as a proxy for broader anti-immigration rhetoric. It stirred social media, with supporters praising Trump's candor and critics decrying racism. As global tensions rise, such outbursts could strain transatlantic relations, though both sides downplay it.

Key Takeaways:

  • Trump's attack on Khan revives their feud, centering on immigration and identity politics.
  • It reflects Trump's broader criticism of European "weakness" on borders and conflicts.
  • Responses highlight divides, with Khan defending diversity while UK gov prioritizes alliances.

One trick pony Trump’s bogeyman deflection away from his unpopular

and failing immigration policies. Stale and unconvincing attempt.

He could have said it nicer.  But he's not wrong.

I wonder if it was there during the blitz?

Still claiming London isn't a "different place"?

Trump ranting against someone is like being on Nixon's enemy list. It is a badge of honor.

Right or wrong, fan or no fan of Khan...........this seems totally irrational.

Has any president of the US, or anywhere else for that matter, expressed opinions on a UK mayor?.........weird.

When the history books are written, they're going to credit the Trump movement with saving the USA and Western Europe from the invading hordes.

Or not, depending on whether his enemies can stop the movement and hold the door open to allow the hordes to prevail.

Edit:  Eastern Europe is smart enough to fight off the hordes on their own.  Like Poland and Hungary...

You would be, if Harris/Walz had won.  We'd all be overrun with economic migrants seeking free stuff.

For all of the hyperbole about the UK becoming Islam, this graphic from 2022 pretty well shoots down the trope that Great Britain is becoming Islamic.  However, with that said, wouldn't it just be a hoot if Islamic Londoners were able to have the City of London submit to Sharia Law.

Not if you consider the election results. Mr. Khan obtained 43.8% of the vote. This is not a strong endorsement. At best he has the support of a slim majority of the total population. And if you look at the demographics, his support comes from the population segment most likely to be receiving government support payments, subsidies or otherwise benefiting from the  UK's high taxation of working people. Mr Khan also has high support within the Pakistani, and Bengali muslim community.

The damage is already being effected by the large number of MPs who were elected solely on the basis of their religious doctrine. They have no loyalty to the  Crown, or to the parliament. Their first loyalty is to their religious doctrine, and many declared just that on the night of their election. They put their religious doctrine and its social dictates first.

Another bomb by President Trump and the truth goes marching on. I just do not understand the good folks of the UK voting in this trash. So sad to see the once great UK fall.

Exactly, totally irrational comment. He should stay away from things like this, but he just can't. But his fans jump on it, proving MalcolmB's comment totally correct.

Oh no, a dot! And you do realise this survey only included answers from people who actively practise a religion.

The rest of your post, and all of what Trump says, is nonsense.

Pot calling the kettle black ,he will try anything to distract from the Epstein files,

"good folks of the UK" didn't vote for him. They imported a new voting bloc of foreigners that voted for their own ethnic interests.

Maybe Khan should have kept his mouth shut. It's never a good idea to pick a fight with someone more powerful than you, especially when you are only 4 foot 10.

It is because so many of us UK a good folks were exported to countries like Australia, the USA, NZ and Canada and became the majority voting bloc.

Blast away man-child. Majority of British people (61% Ipsos poll) dislike Trump and didn’t need a leader like him.

My guess is that Sadiq Khan hasn't miss an opportunity to call Trump a "<pejorative> President" in one of his own rants.

Racist nonsense.

I have family in London, and lots of friends. None of them Muslim. All of them voted for Khan. Three times now.
