4 of the most petty tribalistic dick measuring records you could think up.

So basically Thailand is cuckolding for India now too.

The thing that I hate most about Indians is their totally unwarranted national pride and arrogance and this story is a perfect example.

This is disgusting. Probably the worst thing I've seen in my entire 20 years living in Thailand.

The finest of people. I have shared a straw or two with them on the 6 a number of times, and indeed I now have a closet full of suits thanks to their recommendations.

Toilets? What toilets? They just relieve themselves wherever they want.

Where do you urinate if you're on the beach and there are no public toilets nearby, which IS the case in Pattaya. It is very hard to find even a pay toilet along the main stretch of beach.

This is a serious question, as this can be a problem for many people, especially older people with enlarged prostates or perhaps high blood sugar, increasing the frequency of urination.

I don't understand...

Where did they find all those Indians?

God, I wish I didn't see that, now I will not be able to sleep tonight.

In my honest experience of years spent in India and years spent in Singapore I'd definitely rather follow to the loo the average Indian.

The trick is to push in front.

I'd hate to see the state of the restrooms after this visit.

They probably got a two for one deal, on the bar girls.

A good marketing ploy...

This flag serves as a powerful symbol of unity in diversity.

You appear to be the most racist commenter I have come across on this forum, which is saying a lot. And no, I'm not even remotely left-wing.

Imo it's a bit premature to be awarding the highly prestigious ASEAN "Most racist commenter of the year" trophy now. That's the most sought-after award on this forum. The competition is fierce. There are many contenders and there's still 15 days to go.

I won't cast my vote until January 1.

This ambitious event sought to achieve impressive feats: the delivery of the longest speech to a live audience of 2,500 participants.

So, how long was that speech then? Come on, give it up, the suspense is killing me... :coffee1:

Probably pristine if there is a nearby wall.

The beach is full of sand, easy to dig a hole and do your business...

What is the deal with all the extreme racist rants? I expect a few from the usual cranks, but this is way over the top, especially considering the rather tame post.... only those with a drone or ultra light could see the silly design.... Indian flag? Mostly what I'm used to is various flags of Scandinavia and perhaps some UK banners... thank god only one idiot I am aware of with US flag on display in front of bar.... maybe a Russian?

I admit that Indian tourists can be annoying when the clot up a sidewalk (that is the vendors job, right)... but I reckon as long as we have Indian restaurants it evens out....

But all the horrible hateful posts? Bit much

So why are administrators allowing all these clearly Racist anti -Indian comments but don't allow anti -Zionist comments?

Surprised these hateful, racist posts are not removed.

I love Indians and the country.

Lord Buddha was Indian and has a huge effect on Thai culture, as has Pra Pee Ganet(Ganeshji) in education and art.

Thai Ramakien based on Indian Ramayana.

Thai script taken from Sanskrit.

Thai greeting from the same roots as Sawastika etc

In a dazzling display of unity and cooperation, over 2,500 Indian dealers and employees gathered on Koh Larn island on December 13, led by the renowned Indian real estate investor Gokul Kripa. The event set out to break three Guinness World Records, highlighting the robust relationship between India and Thailand. Organised by GOKUL KRIPA SALES AND MARKETING PVT. LTD., the day unfolded at Samae San Beach under the leadership of Managing Director Sumerji and board members.

This ambitious event sought to achieve impressive feats: the creation of the largest Indian national flag on Thai soil, a coordinated parade of more than 60 speedboats featuring Indian flags across the sea, and the delivery of the longest speech to a live audience of 2,500 participants. Planning and execution were managed by Booking Window DMC Thailand, a premier Destination Management Company, with logistics support from Hemtrip, a leading tour operator.

The event showcased Thailand's excellence as a tourism destination, solidifying its reputation through flawless execution. Beyond attempting records, the gathering showcased deep ties between India and Thailand, highlighting visionary leadership, effective event management, and a celebration of cross-cultural collaboration. Participants and organisers highlighted these shared values and the potential for long-term partnerships between the nations.

Economic impacts were notable, with organisers estimating an influx of over 150 million baht (approximately $4.5 million) into the local economy. The record attempt boosted tourism in Pattaya, promoting accommodations, transportation, and other services. The event celebrated India's cultural heritage abroad and reinforced Thailand’s role as a go-to destination for incentive travel and large-scale corporate events, reported The Thaiger.

The formal recognition of these records remains pending, but the impact on tourism is immediate, setting the stage for future international events in Thailand. As the tourism sector continues to rebound, this gathering exemplified the economic benefits of hosting high-spending international groups.

Missed oppotunity for plod and the immigration office. If they’d turned up it would have been like an episode of the Keystone cops with people running away in all directions.

How are you today sir? You have a lucky face sir. My good friend, give me your money sir.

Arrest and fine the Managing Director Sumerji and board members.

"it is generally illegal and heavily restricted to display a foreign flag in public in Thailand, with strict rules under the Flag Act, as it's considered disrespect to national symbols and can lead to fines or even jail time, with exceptions mainly for diplomatic areas like embassies"

This poor colonial white person is deeply offended by the emancipating deeply offensive smell that you can cut with a knife and never goes away or wash away. This greatly effects my self esteem and appetite.
