Took this photo of a tortoise in a national park in central Thailand it will be one of only 2 species that live in the wild in this country http://www.arkive.org/asian-tortoise/manouria-emys/

This one would be sub adult at around 30cm as they are said to grow to 50 or 60cm

Where is the monkey AMX ? ^^^^ ... oh you edited while I posted ..... ... Uploading that many pics is going to be very time consuming, I have thousands of older ones not done, ....

I have gotten more into the habit now of uploading each batch as I download them from the camera!

These are wild monkeys I saw the other day, all I got was a piece of tail....

It's a whip snake. Only mildly venomous and not at all aggressive. Spent more than half an hour sitting on top of a bush, watching with disinterest while I tried to balance on a stool to photograph it.
