Seems to have gone quiet on this thread, watched the game, Newcastle never turned up till half way though 2nd half, lots of desire, and passion from the Norwich bargain basement players, that worked hard for each other, lesson to be learnt maybe

Justice for Jonas Gutierrez.clap2.gif Newcastle threw him on the trash heap without a second thought.

Yes he was treated very badly by the club I am glad he got justice and so do the fans

IF  the Toon keep on playing and winning like we are at the moment,

we will be going back up,and the Makhams, the way they are playing

and not winning, will be going down, but would prefer they stayed up,

so we can play them and beat them, for a change.

Good to hear from you. Don't be a stranger.

So tell us a bit about the season so far, who's playing well, who isn't, how's the manager?

I hear bits from a Norwich friend, who's gone quiet recently, so be interested to hear your views on the season so far...who's going up?

So the Toon are back in the Premiership, while 2 other N.E. clubs

are going down, thats a pity, It would have been good  for N.E.

football to have 3 clubs in the Premiership, the fan base ,especially

for Newcastle United is one of the strongest in the country, the fans

really need to have some success, they deserve it,been behind the club

through thick and thin,up and down, they are definitely not fairweather

supporters.

Now if the owners just let Rafa do his thing, and dont f^ck things up like

they have done in the past, things should be OK.

Welcome back to where you belong. Would love to see you lot consolidate and win a trophy in the near future. Used to go out for a long time with a morpeth lass so always enjoyed my trips to the wonderful Northumberland and Newcastle. Remember going a family trip to the New Years day '83 match vs carlisle (2v2) , freezing my nuts off but loving it.

Back to where we belong, just hope Rafa stays on,and is left to

do his job, without interference.

Any indications he won't stay on? He seems well liked by the fans, the club should be buoyant on their return, so unless Fatty interferes or doesn't stump upon a big enough transfer budget, surely he'll be there.

It's hard to believe the Newcastle, arsenal, ManU and WHU Forums are no longer busy these days. Sad.

A lot of people have stopped posting.  Quite possibly because theres some <deleted> that come on here to deliberately antagonize and wreck good debate.  I'd have thought that was very obvious.

And before you ask, i'm not referring to you!

I can only comment on the United forum, yes its less busy...and better for it..... for much of last season our "busted flush/turd" of a manager came in for criticism from certain quarters,of course come seasons end with two cup wins (better than their particular clubs have managed in the past 20 odd years or so) it died down somewhat.

Long may it continue and with Mourinho,s undoubted ability as a manager a return to competing for the top trophies once again....

success breeds bitterness....sad but true.

^For the clubs I mentioned, either there's no regular poster or there's little activity (can't believe how quiet the ManU thread is for the biggest club in Stretford) and yet they're all big well supported clubs.

Should be heady days for Magpie fans. Rafa has them playing decent football and their jackass owner has the club up for sale.

Fantastic effort. Blocked everything they threw at you and the goalie pulled off some great saves. There was some real commitment from Newcastle today but can they keep on putting in performances like that every week.

Not that I'm bothered as long as they beat Man Utd

Oh and what a narrow escape us not buying Sanchez the duffer

Ballsy performance and got a little bit of luck when needed.

Who's that goalie. What a debut. Liverpool bound ;-)

Mangala look alike and Shelvey were excellent in midfield. Defense performed. Kenedy didn't impress me - poor decision making.

Denied a penalty on Gayle first half. On another day Valencia could have seen red for that foot up.

Best performance of the season I'll guess.

Ps. Pogba most expensive player in Britain...titter!

Man Utd were so poor they made Newcastle look good.

Sanchez saw a lot of the ball as in "You're on 350 grand a week; sort it". Already looking like Billy No Mates.
