Universal doubts cloud 'perfect' Koh Tao murder investigation

How about offering a reward for a photograph showing Sean McAnna with/without the stab wounds, taken between 9 September and 15 September? After all he has stated that many people saw him.

So, he worked in Karma bar, hung out at all the classy establishments and loved to be in the spotlight - not a terribly difficult thing to imagine someone, somewhere has one.

Prove someone is lying and the house of cards could collapse.

Sean's wounds would have begun to heal after 5-6 days.

If you look at CSI LA Sean has a push knife on a chain around his neck-it has been red circled. Photo was taken at the supermarket. Also Mon had his phone in his left hand taking photo's of Sean.

Wait a moment... I saw that grainy pic, that thing hanging from Sean's neck can be anything..Not necessarily a push knife.

If it's the same thing thats around his neck the following morning when being interviewed it actually appears to be a lighter. I imagine it is the same thing as it would seem strange to have a jewellery/accessory change in the midst of all that madness!

Does it really matter if it was in the condo or UNI as long as it's in Bangkok ?

It appears your only concern is supporting The BIB.

No I do not. But lets say someone contact UNI and ask hem to release all the cctv footage . Then the videos will be posted here on thaivisa. Will you believe it ? No, it will be same, same, faked dates .

The CCTV picture is alleged to have been taken from his apartment building in Bangkok.

Do keep up balo!

So the Tuvichien family is out of scope for the RTP?

Untouchables?

That might very well be the cases , but i suspect that they are about to see their reputation and businesses torn to shreds via social media . A good old fashioned trial by media . Everything from Trip advisor to Socialcam , Wikipedia and facebook , and i doubt that the rot will stop there, i suspect it will be a broad brushed assault on the island and businesses of koh tao . So shame on you lot that live there but have kept your mouths tight shut .

I hope they bleed you dry his high season

Unfortunately many of the businesses have to pay rent to the 'head man' so it will not be him that suffers as much as everyone else.

True. Do people think everyone on the island is complicit? How nuts is that?

The time of night and the area they were in should give you a clue; possibly the only people on the beach before the incident were the unfortunate accused. Whatever went down, I would bet only those involved saw it, so exactly how would people 'know'? Anyone involved in the crime, or the subsequent cover up is hardly likely to be posting about it - so who does that leave?

Most people there think they 'know', as do most here. However, to really know you must have proof.

So, how many people on KT do you think witnessed this horrific crime? They are the only ones we need to hear from...

The danger now is that even though there are so many doubts. none of them are big enough to blow the case apart. What is needed is proof. Prove someone is lying.

Find a photo of one of the 'suspects' from the weekend, the family member who was in Bangkok, or Sean Mc Anna (right forearm). So many people must have taken so many photos, surely one of them can be proven a liar...

Confirm that three sets of DNA were found on the victims body. If there were three people the entire case will implode. Check this 3rd sample against the family members.

The discrepancies will most likely be blamed on inept junior RTP and spun away. The DNA evidence is what the RTP are relying upon and unless new samples can be tested, their samples will most likely match the samples from the victim. Where/how they obtained their samples will never be questioned.

I do not doubt for a minute that if sour milk was there on the day night before that a lot of ppl saw him ,

That being the case , they need to speak up or I guess they'll be getting hit on some time soon

They are going to attack/blast those target sites with negative reviews, aiming to ruin the business's that are implicated.

Having read some of the reviews posted on a couple of these places some months ago I don't think anything they do will make much differrence.

They're already rated very badly.

in his winded explanation, of who said what in the threatening-night, mcanna never mentioned, that it was about the bloody clothes.

even if it was all wrong, he could have said, he was "accused" of this...

he just skipped that part, didnt he ?

and csila90210-mafia-style business-threats...

they will never be published, probably...

anyway kinda stupid idea...

I agree, probably not the best idea, but unfortunately they are frustrated as to what to do next I guess and this appears to be their solution, they've been committed in exposing what they can but now upping the anti. I wish them luck.

i agree its a stupid idea tripadvisor reports should be true....

and if someone will be hurt, certainly not the owner..but probably myanmar workers

being this said....CSI LA keep the pressure on

So the Tuvichien family is out of scope for the RTP?

Untouchables?

Why are they 'untouchable' ?

Because they control the Kho Tao police?

Note here in the village an illegal casino operates, they pay the police.

One might ask does the police control the casino or does the casino control the police?

I opt for the last.

If one per se was to employ the help of google's transate service would plainly suggest it would be easier to solve this crime than decipher what the F%%* the true meaning is meant to be after it translates any text ........

The PERSON ( as in 1), who allegedly saw Sean and helped him clean up was a STAFF MEMBER of the AC bar. The others who confirmed this sighting were

the management of that place.

Credibility given the suspicions of many?

Scott, Google will never be your friend if you disrespect her like that. :-)

So the Tuvichien family is out of scope for the RTP?

Untouchables?

Why are they 'untouchable' ?

The Tuvichien family are influential, well respected and beyond all reproach.

Warot Tuvichian son of Montriwat Tuvichien who is brother of Voraphan Tuvichien.

Voraphan Tuvichien: politician, Mayor/Headman of Koh Tao.

Important member Surat Thani section of Democratic Party.

Top organiser for PDRC Surat Thani deserving of support from military.

Venerable uncle Suthep: leader of Dem Party in Surat Thani province (includes KT).

Founder of PDRC which paved the way for much needed Army takeover.

Wealthy, influential, well connected and well respected as this family are, to suggest that they could have influence all the way to the top is unthinkable.

The Supreme Commander Police (PM) and his handpicked Police Commissioner General, who has been in charge of the perfect investigation, have pronounced that they are fully satisfied they have the guilty parties. They have also told us not to question further. If it`s good enough for them then it should be good enough for us.

The thing I am finding more and more scary is not the alleged beating or manipulating of the testimony, but the fact that these Thai officers would be willing to let two people die or rot in prison for something they did not do.

Scary? see post #749 above. Adjust your attitude and be happy.
