There are also quite a few cases where Germans don't make any problems at all, what do you think the reason is for that?

As you say, only a few cases, the rest is trouble maker. History theaches you! I know a lot of Germans so I know what I talk about.

10 days in the slammer, 5000 baht fine and deported/blacklisted for 5 years

  • its obvious this guy has mental issues, who in their right mind would knowingly put water in a petrol tank,  and not for the first time it seems, he wont get help here , best to post him back to where

  • I reckon the damage to the trees will come to more than 5,000 baht. Sentence him to three months tree planting service as well as fine and blacklist.

There are narrow minded people of all origins, unfortunately.

Yes, it is called confirmation bias

well she certainly won't be coming back after she see's you looking a complete tool on the news. those poor trees, what did they have to do with it. anyway, should have just took your frustrations out on a bar girl, would have worked out cheaper and more fun. each to their own i guess

no no this guy had just to many drinks, can happen

"...he destroyed palm trees and other trees at a public garden close to Krabi River out of anger when his girlfriend left him."

Heck, I usually have to pay them 1000 baht to leave.

Obviously has some serious issues which is not helpful to the crop of Expats that would like to live quietly and peacefully. This attracts unnecessary adverse attraction which in turn causing more long stay difficulties. Simply not normal behaviour!

I think they are not happy with their home country and then it dawns in them... have to go back to an open door to refugees Germany

Only that could actually make him look stupid, but as they say all is is a fair reason in love and war. Lucky he didn´t kicked on some dogs too. Then it would have been a life sentence on the table.

Now we all know that this was not just a pretty look. He must really be totally stupid, and everyone understand very quickly why his girlfriend left him.

tie him to a tree and let dogs piss all over him , then get him a collar and escort him to the airport and deport him like the dog he is

German? Way more Brits, Aussies and Americans.

Harsh justice, but how about a lamp post or fire hydrant. Don't let him near the trees again.

Colin actually has a point. Where've the Brits gone this last quarter? We've got yank gay boys getting their <deleted> out at the temple and not stopping there the yanks threw in a few kids to scrawl over walls in broad daylight for good measure,  the swiss got involved by getting their man to turn off some thai blokes bike for which he took one for switzerland by way of a good bashing, the norwegians weren't having the swiss out do them so sent their ladyboy loving countryman to go over to a frog restaurant to moan about noise for which he also took a good bashing, the aussies and canadians threw in some bikie drug dealing murderers and the crown  has to go to none other than holland who took the world down with their man who decided killing his girlfriends family would surely not be beaten. so i ask you Britain, we have only a few days left this year, where the hell are you??

They hibernate for the winter, don't worry they will be back attacking people with Machetes on the school run soon enough.

Plainly obvious he needs help.

Instead of punishing him (and making him an example showing Thais how bad farangs are)  he should get counselling/professional help before he self implodes.

Not comfortable with the Mayor who puts up a bounty reward when a foreigner misbehaves - says a lot regarding Thai mentality and attitudes to outsiders. Needless to say the money motivated the Thais into the culprit being caught. Sad.

Make him work as a gardener for free at the park for one year with free extension of Visa.

Perhaps the naughty Pommies have no money and are grounded, where the Americans - Germans - Aussies are making the headlines.

I have a feeling the sensitive soul misunderstood " take your frustrations out on a bar girl"

Damage to a tree fine jail

Killing some one out on bail

So many other issues but chase down a tree hater

Road carnage death breath test lose license back on the road under a different name

Seen the same for Americans and Brits and Dutch people.. doubt its a German thing.. but if it makes you feel better do feel free to believe this. Stupidity is not limited to certain nationalities.

When girlfriend left..then jump from a high building...:saai:

Yea that Dutch guy was a big idiot killing people with a knife he takes the price this year. Not a countryman I am proud of. But then again there are plenty of idiot Dutch just like there are plenty of idiots in other countries.

Better to take it out on a tree than the girl, which is commonly the way among rejected Thai suitors.
