Believe it was you who mentioned 'european elite', not us.

I also never said we should prioritise winning the PL over the CL; i said "I would rather win the PL than the CL".

If City win the PL and beat ManU in all games that season then I'm  a very happy BB and you can keep your CL and European elite ????

Rick, see my mate Pep thinks the same as moi.

Pep Guardiola says winning the Champions League would pale in comparison to another Premier League title with Manchester City.

"...That is why I have said many times the Premier League, for me, is the most important title, showing every three days that you are there. Being there every time sends out a good message..."

BB, I stopped replying to your ridiculous stats, about purchased tickets masquerading your ticket purchases as actual attendance as you are basically just being an ass about it.

As your manager has now come out with this absolute whopper, well I'd love to hear what delusion you will pull on this one.

Source Bob. Cos I read that interview and apart from the above patching together word's out of context, I never saw Liverpool mentioned once in the interview. It was about him preferring the Prem to Champs League but he knows City fans aren't in love with the CL and wants them to get behind the team tomorrow.

Well let's have it right, you've nothing else to shout for again this season. It's the only thing you're still in

I guess you don't watch your manager's press conferences. Makes sense.

Maybe Pep was hinting that City fans need to attack the Spurs bus before the game, like the scousers do.

To suggest they try that tonight would be incitement to serious rioting in the weekend game....which I'm sure neither of us want to see.

All about the football for me.

You didn't think i was serious for one second did you? I'd hate to think that ANY football supporters would do such a thing.

Reminds me of trips to liverpool when i was a youth:

1. Coach bricked

2. Different time, scouser opened the coach door when we were stationary at traffic lights and bloodied the drivers nose before scarpering

3. In a car, stopped at traffic lights laughing at signs to knotty ash or somewhere, one scouser opens the front passenger door wide while his mate attempts to give my brother a kicking.

Thankfully they've moved on from those days in liverpool. ????

Every team has morons sadly BB....we just have to make sure they are not allowed to incite the main groups of fans....cos then it can be carnage.

Looking beyond tonights match one of us will face Ajax....and they look an amazing side.

Watched the last half hour against Juve and they showed amazing composure for such a young team.

We're going to buy them all in the summer.

Never easy to guess Pep's starting 11 but harder still with the Spurs and ManU PL games in the next week.

Think these will be definite starters:

Ederson

Walker, Stones, Laporte, LB??? (will he go Mendy or Danilo or shift Laporte across to get Kompany in for more height - i reckon Mendy)

KdB, CM??? (Fernandinho is available but not 100% so i reckon as we need goals he'll start Gundogan and save Fernandinho for the PL), Silva

Sterling, CF??? (Aguero has been off the pace so jesus to start?), Bernardo

Expect us to go to 442 if Plan A doesn't work.

What's Spurs starting 11 likely to be?

After his starting 11 last week, I confess to not being able to read his mind one iota

The teams are reasonably balanced for first 11 but look at the gulf on the bench!!

We need zero injuries today and a good 1st half to have a decent chance imho.
