Man Utd and Arsenal the only Premier League clubs in top 20 list of producing football talent
Barcelona and Real Madrid have produced more footballing talent than any other club in Europe's top five leagues.

The El Clasico rivals have been responsible for 623,276 minutes of action in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga over the last five years.

Manchester United have also helped dominate the continent with 253,677 minutes coming from players who spent at least three seasons at the club between the ages of 15 and 21.

United have been boosted by the likes of Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Gerard Pique - with the club continually churning out incredible talent.

The Red Devils, and their famed academy, are one of only two English sides in the top 20 of the list, which was complied by the CIES Football Observatory.

Arsenal squeeze into the top 20 with 138,715 minutes.

Chelsea are 43rd with 92,512 minutes, Southampton are in 44th with 81,651 minutes, Manchester City are in 45th with 80,823 minutes, and Aston Villa are in 46th with 80,445 minutes.

All that <deleted>@k!ng money and all they can develop is Phil, who can't even get a game when they're 6-0 up against Chelski.

Difficult for him to play when he isn't even on the bench, which is surprising being as he is a regular ????????

Regular bench warmer, though I understand City have heated seats to keep all those expensive bottoms warm.

Mmmm see what you mean.

Lets have a think. An 18 yr old possibly sitting on the bench or playing a role in the Cup Games/ squad in the Premiership for City  or a 20 year old supposed future star sitting in the stands or getting a cold arse on the bench on loan at League One Sunderland.

What shade of green are you today?

Being reported that City turned down Newcastle, Southampton and Bournemouth, who all wanted Foden on loan in the recent transfer window, so he could possibly sit on the bench or play a role in the Cup Games / squad in the Premiership for City. Good decision Pep!

A 20 year old future star !!!!!  where did you get that from ? we only let him out on loan because A. he is not highly rated at Spurs B. we have a 17 year old who is in front of him in the pecking order.

Incidentally we have an 18 year old who has already played more minutes and has more starts than the regular one in the PL so why would i be a shade of green ?

Iv'e told you before, best to keep off of here as you tend to make self look silly ????

You're referring to Skipp aren't  you. Hasn't he played in less Premier games but more minutes than Foden, but Foden has played more games and more minutes in all competitions. He has started Premier games though which Foden hasn't. Why is that? Oh i remember why..."If we’re honest with ourselves, Skipp’s first team debut only came about due to a near catastrophic injury situation in Spurs’ midfield — Tottenham were without Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama due to injury, Harry Winks due to rotation, and Eric Dier due to a virus...".

I'm pretty sure if Silva KdB Gundogan Bernardo Zinchenko etc were all unavailable then Foden would have started Premier games.

Nice try though Alfie ????

How Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood compares with Paulo Dybala

The Juventus star has long been rumoured with a move to Old Trafford but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might already have a gem on his hands

My thoughts go out to this young man

Young Manchester United defender Max Taylor, 19, has undergone chemotherapy for cancer

The player, formerly known as Max Dunne, is recovering having responded well to treatment, club chiefs said

Cancer is no longer the death-sentence it used to be. The treatment is still fairly brutal but the results are so much better than they used to be. Beat this, come back stronger and you'll have a far healthier perspective on life, sport etc than most of the kids do in the game today. I wish him all the best
