webfact
PM complains of fake news about his wife’s religion Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has complained about the spread of fake news on social media, one item of which recently related to his wife. He said Tuesday that the fake news in question claimed his wife, Mrs. Naraporn, is a Muslim, adding it is general knowledge that his wife is a Buddhist, who presents alms to monks and pays respect to monks and Buddha images. The Prime Minister also cited another false report about the Government increasing tax on feminine hygiene products, which, he claimed had been posted in social media by a politician. He pleaded with members of the public to exercise caution and not to share fake news, adding that, if the false report causes damage, legal action will be taken. jaiyen
So someone is spreading fake news about his wife ! And he is going to nothing about it, just complain. He tells everyone else it is illegal and there will be a huge punishment. Shows how much he cares about his wife ! Only cares about No 1. That basically sums up this country's definition of being 'Buddhist'. Funny how he didn't list any of the top precepts of Buddhism. If Buddha were here today, he'd be so impressed by people wying inanimate objects coloured in gold. 11

Popular Post BobinBKK
I honestly don't understand his point because I'm a Christian that presents alms to monks and pays respect to monks and Buddha images. A person's religious beliefs are irrelevant if you love and respect everyone without indifference. 7

Popular Post Krataiboy
How much of this news from the recent past is fake? And what was the source? The Thai general election will be held in October, 2015. The Thai general election will be held in mid-2016. The Thai general election will be held in late 2017 The Thai general election will be held in November, 2018. (No prizes for guessing right. Pity there was no Ministry of Truth to complain to then!). 5

Popular Post spidermike007
This from a man who is the king of fake news and deflection, and not exactly a champion of the people. My suggestion? Grow some thick skin. You put yourself in the position, right? Now deal with it, like a grownup. You are an adult, right? Man up. Stop your incessant whining. At least try to act dignified. Whining makes you look so weak, and so small, and so defensive. And stop the constant threats. That also makes you look weak. I will come after you if you do not behave! Right. We are all quivering in our boots!
