The sky in Sisaket is grey/cloudy and some rain would definitely be great. The weather forecast doesn't mention rain.

It has been way too hot for the last days.

We'll visit the grandparents ( rice farmers) today and see how their water situation is this year.

Very little rain here in Latphao (like a wall around the district).  At least it cooled things down and maybe some light rain later.

Just rolled on through the Sathon Area with lightening and thunder, and very windy, light rain now as the main body passes overhead near my place outside of Lumpini Park.

The heat and humidity makes life to a survival training here.

You'd have thought that you get used to it after 18 years? Nope!

Can't imagine a few more degrees!

- And it came with a bright flash followed with a loud bang!

This morning I was a bit confused why it was still dark but 10am already. Has the haze from up north moving down? Alien attack and the big mothership above us?

Checked the radar, hmm we are having some showers.

Good news this will wash out the dirt that has accumulated, and not just a few grains but really lots that birds would confuse the roof be just a roof and not the bang saen beach, on the roof in the last months.

The solar panels are clean but generating nothing at the moment as the damp air is stil up and no sun coming through.

Now I need to dry the stairs. And some of the ceiling panels got damp.

It looks like one of the transparant roofpanel got too brittle by the sun and ageing resulting it broke.

Any of you got surprized by the rain and the results from it?

Send that rain up north. Probably another 2 months before we see any. And yes, the sun cannot get through the smog until around midday.

Nice steady rain in northern part of Saraburi since 5am!  Hopefully more rain this year than last.  Nice reprieve from the heat of the last week or so.
