He'll be "Billy no-mates" in a nano second!

"He said he had known Neil Henry Elliott, 48, for about a year. He said he was a lively guy who was a drinker but he didn't know anything about drug use. He always had plenty of women because he had lots of money, said Ping."

Yeah, a bit too lively in fact!!!!

So in terms of the awfulness of this.

My wife's cousin, who until recently was a lady of the night in Pattaya, was on a vidchat with my wife.

She actually knew the guy and had he had been a 'customer'.

She recognized him from the media reports, and said she had the three times felt scared. He paid well, but he always wanted her to take YaBa and at the end was aggressive.

She always refused to go with him after that

Yeah, well now she knows the dangers of being a ho, and she may not be so lucky next time.

And whats the "S" stand for? Specialist ?????

Superstars !

They must be "crack" investigators. After all, it was mere hours after the crime was reported that some of them had already decided that he didn't do it (meaning he was being framed) and that the police must have beat the confession out of him (while he was in a hospital bed having his injuries from a motorcycle accident attended to - before the police even knew anyone had been killed) !

Oh wait, change that to "They must be "on crack" investigators.

And change "Superstars" to "Suckers".

And for all you window-licking tossers whining about whether the guy is "Irish" "North Irish" or "English" - chew on this:

"English, Irish, Scots: They’re All One, Genes Suggest

But geneticists who have tested DNA throughout the British Isles are edging toward a different conclusion. Many are struck by the overall genetic similarities, leading some to claim that both Britain and Ireland have been inhabited for thousands of years by a single people that have remained in the majority, with only minor additions from later invaders like Celts, Romans, Angles , Saxons, Vikings and Normans.

The implication that the Irish, English, Scottish and Welsh have a great deal in common with each other, at least from the geneticist’s point of view, seems likely to please no one."

Yeah, that's right. There's about as much difference between an Irishman, a Scotsman and an Englishman as there is between someone from London and someone from Liverpool.

The only real difference for most of you is that, if you drive 2 towns away from where you grew up, you probably won't be able to understand what anyone is saying !

Police say Elliott admitted hitting Onn with a pool cue, then stabbing her to death with a 23-inch machete when she resisted.

Ok, I get the Pool Cue.

I even get the Ya Ba even though you would have to be brain dead to take that stuff.

But he had in his home a 23 inch Machete? Really? What kind of person has one of them in their home? Only a complete loser in my mind.

RIP to the poor girl.

Drugs and prostitutes. Bloody mix.

It doesn’t have to be prostitutes to make a bloody mix when drugs are involved, or even too much alcohol.

Many years ago in Australia the brother of a friend murdered his girlfriend while under the influence of drugs and I had  a business client whose son murdered his wife while in the same situation, neither of those women were prostitutes.

You could certainly say that about Glasgow when we visited a few years ago.

Anyone with any sense, or a garden. I have a baseball bat. Most taxi drivers, mini-bus drivers etc carry one in their vehicle.

I have several machete's you describe scattered about my land, they're mainly used for working in the garden but by the end of the day are strategically placed.

You're very naive if you this this is not common and not only are they kept at home, similar waepons are in most vehicles.

Yes, money likely motive, maybe she gave him some ya.ba, then wanted the money for the drug and the entertainment. He flipped, probably was a flipper anyway, she probably pressed his flip button, bad luck for her. Sad this is, Only demonstrats that lots of nutters still live in  Childs Playground, Sorry to say that but that's it's nickname. If you spoke fluent Thai then you would not believe what they say about these sorts behind your back

Probably more the "entertainment". I got the impression during my time in Thailand that when guys have problems with the girls, sometimes what they're not telling you is that they were offering them much less than what was agreed, lots of "Cheap-Charlies"! They try to barter after something has been provided.

A very long time ago, when I used to do this stuff a lot, I remember giving girls what was agreed when I hadn't even touched them, on account of my being too blind-drunk, which of course was my own stupid fault. I used to think of myself as the guy that all the girls wanted to sleep with, cos basically that's all they had to do!!????

I heard it's very addictive, does anyone know if everyone gets addicted or is it just certain people? i wonder because a falang got a girl i know onto yaba and I'm hoping there won't be a downward spiral

Yes, it's way more addictive than crack. Definitely very dangerous especially if taken without a break. You can't sleep so your mind starts sleeping while you're awake, i.e. hallucinating, and with the attendant paranoia you can end up having waking nightmares. Hence the uncontrollable violence.

No that gong goes to those from the rising sun... more money and even less interaction, or, well hardly noticeable interaction.

Yes, it was just to do with being blind-drunk in my case.

It got to the point for me where I just regarded it as a waste of money. An old (wealthy) Ozzie friend tends to go out once or twice a month for a big night out in Soi Cowboy. All-up, the night usually costs him around 6,500. For me, even if it includes a legover, that's much more than I want to spend on a night out. (around £150).

Would that be before opium was banned in London in the 1860's?

That was just restrictions placed on pharmacies to sell anything at all. Before the act of 1868 you could buy arsenic without a prescription, as well as cocaine, heroin or opium. The act didn't have much effect on sales. All you had to do was leave your name and address..

"In 1868 the Pharmacy Act brought in restrictions. In theory, it became tougher to get hold of opium - with the user having to provide a name and address and other details to the chemist. But it made little difference."

So how was a 48 year old living in what looks to be a pretty nice house survive in Thailand?

What was he doing for money?

Too young to retired, and I know looks can be deceiving, but he doesn't look like the online tech wizard kinda guy.

So how did he get an extension of stay?

Many questions about this guy, apart from the fact that he brutally (allegedly) murdered a woman

A brief internet search will reveal some details of his business background in NI.

As an earlier poster indicated, he is(was) involved with an energy renewables company in NI. Plus he was a  director of an electrical company that was worth about £400k 2/3 years back and was wound up last year. Maybe the source of his dosh?

Others sold and Taxed. Like Cannabis in US.

At state level in most U.S. states cannabis possession/use is not legal ("decriminalized" does not mean legal) and it is certainly not "sold and taxed" with the blessing of any government authorities (except for medical use in some states).  It is still technically illegal under federal law in all states.

I think alcohol ran out, this party girl offered yaba, he normally would say no and accepted this time. Then crazy.
Proper testing in hospital could show wether he used just once or more often.

I don't see the relevance on him using once or more times? I've seen the picture of the body of the girl.

Hang him up in the highest tree.

Not just that he took meth, but how much did he take?  If he does not do it often he may have no sense of his tolerance and did more than he could handle.  And then there's the coming down...

Oh yeah, and the insane paranoia, which is probably what the grisly assault was about.

He butchered a girl (I know the girl and seen the pictures). What are you trying to say? Muffle is away because he took some Yaba.

Yaba doesn't turn you into a frenzy killer. Regardless, he should be locked up for the rest of his life. Or even better, give him the death penalty.

i wonder why they don't say who the girl is, maybe they don't know. I wondered if I'd seen her about

won't happen though as he is wealthy, if he can get his hands quickly on a few miliion baht i can see him getting away and out the country.

Her (nick)name was "On". Came from a village close to Kalasin.

She was an old friend of my wife. They grew up together.

Highly doubt it. Thailand is corrupt, but this is a pretty brutal case. He might be able to pay and finish his sentence in NI at a best case scenario. Hope he rots though.

Sadly we probably won't find out what sentence he gets if any, usually these stories go cold. Maybe someone can keep an eye on his Facebook account
