I thought that he was arrested on the 28/4 .

Did he make bail on the attempted murder charge?

He escaped from police custody, there's a clearer report in the Bangkok Post.

Putting all assets in the wife's name isn't good for your mental health

She had her long plan, once everything in her name bye my love.I don,t love you just with you for your money. how many are playing this long game

  • Great job tracking this attempted murderer down. 47 is still fairly young. How foolish to ruin his life for a Thai woman. Sadly, Is not the first and won't be the last.

Some of these Thai women will do anything for a bit of revenge.

Now she can sit back comfortable, knowing that hubby will be away for some time.

Was it worth it?

What’s his name? Interested to know which area he’s from in Briton...

David John Marshall.  He comes from Britain, not "Briton".

Wow, I wonder if the guy would have managed to escape if he was not in such a difficult situation with COVID-19. Also it is must have been also easier for the police to track him as of not having all the other tourist crowds. A month is a long time, borders closed and natural borders are on high gear so to risky.

You don't know the half of it. As a volunteer.Immigration police officer over 5.years I heard many sad and tragic stories of men losing everything they invested, savings, retirement payouts on Thai women, stories I cannot repeat here but there are foolish or naive foreigners that fall in love with a "beautiful" lady never expecting things can go bad. There are some clever and coniving ladies out there

There's a great quote from the movie 'Heat' - "don't have anything in your life that you aren't prepared to walk away from" - that's one to live by.

Yes I've tried to live my life by a creed gleaned from a film script.

I would be fascinated to learn how scanning a person's fingerprints and face at the airport could help find thCCTVat person at a hotel that does not scan the fingerprints or faces of its guests.

CCTV can identify the unique facial features of a person.

I get the feeling your being liberal with the word "ladies".  I guess it's a lot less wordy than 'lying cheating low life whores'!  As a side note, where do you go to find these ladies?  In my first 2 years unattached in Pattaya I became acquainted with quite a few girls and not once had one put the moves on me.   I don't know what the moves are but it must involve some things I cannot imagine.  Maybe someone can enlighten me

??? ????

Should have been a higher floor.

Yep, we've all been there. I've got a room on the 23rd floor of Siam@Siam earmarked. Very low balcony rail. Perfect.

M. reportedly confessed to assaulting his wife because she was threatening to leave him for another man after he had put all his assets in her name.

There's naive and there's stupid! Where do these people come from? The planet Zarcon?

Some are playing the long game, but most Thais are just too greedy and impatient to wait very long :The pilfering and 'embezzlement' starts a couple of days after consummation the relationship, if the Farang ever gets to that part.

Most comments on this thread seem to believe this retard's excuse for throwing his Mrs off a balcony. Really? The Ban Chang Cliff Beach is a run down dive where you can buy a condo, last I heard, for about 350,000 baht. So even if his story is true that's hardly a huge asset to have put in her name and no excuse for trying to kill the poor lady. Apart from that, I doubt she is very comfortable with what ever injuries she sustained. I would imagine some pretty serious.

If he is a 'retard' he should not readily be believed. I read that he 'allegedly' threw her off. Maybe she jumped to get away from him, as he had imprisoned her for a while. Maybe she jumped, hoping to land on number 7's balcony, but misjudged her leap!

I'm sure the BinB will get it sorted and we will probably hear nothing more about it.

No, US......5555

I don’t understand this phenomenon in Thailand of throwing people off balconies or jumping off balconies. It’s prevalent here and I don’t see it happening in any other country. Not like it does here. So weird.

However, this one was from Britain. A lot of stories about Brits acting badly lately. Why is that?

Fortune telling man looking into his crystal ball:  "I see a man coming into your life"

Mae West:  "What?! Only one?!"

I understand that they all come under the RTP umbrella, but why does the Immigration chief

take all the credit in this case????

Yep, that's pretty much a deal breaker right there.

Personally I would never put anyone elses name on anything that belongs to me let alone putting it all in their name. I have been asked to do so by several of the women I have been sleeping with in Thailand. I just laugh at them and walk away ????

This guy needs to hook up with the woman throwing cats over a wall at a temple.
