Which hotels in Pattaya are classified for quarantine

Featured Replies

A friend of mine who has a work permit and is director/shareholder of a Thai company wants to come

back to Thaikand, but he cannod find any information about which hotels in Pattaya are classified to offer the 14 days quarantine

and how to make a booking to apply for the special permit he need to get from the Thai embassy in The Hague, Netrherlands.

Can anybody help?

You haven't said in your post what nationality he is.  If he's Thai then the list in post 3 is correct.  If however he is non-Thai then he will need one of the paid for options which go under the title of Alternative State Quarantine.  There's a list of them on here somewhere but you'll have to search for it, or hopefully someone will post a link.  I found this, but I've a feeling there are more now.

There is a link to the ASQ hotels in the main website: http://hsscovid.com/

The hotels  listed have clickable links to details / costs  of the hotels in the scheme.

But these hotels are all in Bangkok, he is looking for a hotel in Pattaya, where he lives

None, so far.

I guess they don't want foreigners traveling too far from the airports, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

I think hotels in Pattaya are for repatriated Thai nationals only.

I've contacted 5 hotels in pattaya requesting info, So far only Dusit Thani has replied with a "yes"

I dunno how they are doing it but the Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel is full all the time.

Gotta be quarantiners.  Whether they are all Thai or not I don't know.
