Not sure what you've heard about Thailand, but I'm certain it's not reality.  There are some Thai women who are in desperate situations and would love anyone--foreigner or otherwise--to bail them out.  What you're offering is not very appealing.  You want a young Thai girl with no kids to move out of Thailand to some cold place and work (because you've got no money).  So she has to leave her family and friends and Thai culture to be with someone with whom she can barely communicate.  Even if you were to find such a girl, it wouldn't last.

 

An attractive 23 yr old with no kids has many better options than you.  I'm sorry, but you need to lower your expectations.

Good advice. I might add that learning to speak Thai would be a helpful skill as well. Nearly all the women you described will not speak English.

Must try to meet them before they learn the tricks of gold-digging. If you want a young lady that is ready for love and commitment, must get them from areas that you feel comfortable with. If you like swimming; join a swimming club. Fencing; get in there. Want to learn to ride a horse; girls all over the place. Like to lift weights; join a weightlifting group (Papawadee was a gold medalist and everyone's hot fantasy).

 

Have to be careful on the internet platforms. Things are not always as they seem.

at 37 I was at one of the heights of my career, so should this person be, not drivelling on about Thai woman and finding love.  I can never understand how younger men come to Thailand to basically drop out of 'real life' and bum around  in second class employment until they get old.  My advice, stop whining, and get on with building a career and a life. This is not the place for either for a man bordering on middle age.

That may be fine in the eyes of some, until they get near to retirement age, with no pension and very little cash put aside.  Thats when a wasted life comes into focus, when it is too late.  I have seen numerous examples here in Thailand, people who came in early middle age, thinking they were living the dream, only to find out that their prospects  and future was a bleak older age.  Love is not much good to you then, even if you have found it.

Could go to a hospital and help an old biddy get to her seat. Find out where the nurses eat. Select a nice one and follow her home to her village. Whack your finger with a hammer and go to a clinic where some nice 'uns are.

 

Personally I'm not into nurses. Not into uniforms at all really. I like girls who lift weights.

A fellow countryman asked me some advise about marriage to Thai lady he had met, and I tried kindly to recommend him to have prenuptial made before. He however answered me that he was not afraid of loosing anything, because he owned nothing, whilst the lady in question was single owner a quite big beach resort...????

   I suggest the OP comes to Thailand , gives out his hotel address and then he can choose from the queues of Ladies that fit that criteria, who will be lined up outside his room, passports in hand  , excitingly hoping to be the chosen one

I'm sorry about your problems with European girls, but I think you misunderstand the answers in this thread, it's not "hatred against" you, but merely telling you the fact that your chances for finding an close to half your age Thai girl is extremely limited without being a good provider.

 

Try to think of how it was back in time in Europe, some 80-100 years ago before ladies began to work, at that time a marriage for a girl mainly was the question of finding a good provider for a future family. In many ways the Thai culture is quite similar to how Europen culture once was, 75-100 years ago.

 

When I was single in my mid 40s and up to 50, I could have a lot of interest from single ladies around 40. But not having a family yet – i.e. child/children – a future partner should be within a reasonable range to produce some. I was not really interested in those abandoned "old" single moms, I would be way more interested in their daughters close to 20????, but middle aged men and young girls are not well seen in Europe, unless you are famous or rich, preferably both; average handsome is unfortunately not enough...????

 

I had read in a book that when a man pass the age of 40, he enters "the payment class", and I just had to accept that facts...

 

Luckily I still had a few years to save up some money – that seemed easier than instantly become famous in a relative old age – and as my savings were far from enough for the European level, Southeast Asia were an option to gain some "genuine" interest from young ladies in their early 20s.

 

Unfortunately this seem to be quite common facts, but always look at the bright side of life: At 37 you still have plenty of chances to within a few years save some money, and get "genuine" interest from girls in their early 20s – I talk from extremely positive experience, the only difficult part was to choose...????
