  • I drove through Walking Street last night (Friday) at 8:00 p.m. and the only folks walking were the security guards. A tumbleweed blew across my path.

  • Did any of them ring the bell?   ????

Nice of them to roll out street stalls when so many are struggling to pay rent here.

Ah, it's the bloody irritating food and plastic junk market is it. Have to avoid that.

I've seen a lot of business that cater for Thais close that have been there for years. Recycling places, moticy repair shops, local markets have only a fraction of stalls compared to a year ago...it's not just Foreign targeted businesses...it can be discussed a thousand times, fact is Pattaya and the surrounding areas are seeing business close on a daily basis...I just wonder how long Lotus and Big C will continue as they are deserted almost anytime of day.

All looks a bit contrived bruv. Everyone looks subdued and heading home or summat.

It being another holiday weekend, Pattaya should probably expect large crowds again.

Correct me if I am wrong but my uni students tell me it is dead during the week and busy on weekends.

Where is this trinkets market? I see a Big C sign so maybe behind Big C North/Central Marina. Meanwhile, the other 97% of the city is holding onto a string as a lifeline. The two months I've been here, it's been shrinking even more.

Does that mean they have to wait longer finding a sugar daddy to buy the new iPhone?

This was the good old Beach Road about 20 years ago. Sadly replaced by a kind of highway...

That's hoe I'll remember it. Haven't been there for ages and there's no reason to go to anymore.

Same happened to Khao san road in Bangkok, both are dead.

My apologies. I might be outdated as well. Not interested in any news from the other world. But I wish you a very nice time in 2020, knowing that 2021 won't be better.

Perhaps even worse. Please remember my words.

17) You will not discuss the specifics of prostitution. Though Thailand has a visible sex industry, and acknowledgement of that fact is not forbidden, ThaiVisa is not the place to seek or give information on this topic, regardless of your sexual habits, preferences or orientation.
