  • Not a single name I ever heard of. And maybe not a single one in Pattaya. NOT a justification to shutdown all of Pattaya. And Sattahip is not in Chonburi province. Yes, I know nitpicking

They should have done so a month ago.

and this is over 20 days ago - even if I had been (which I haven't) to any of the mentioned places I don't have symptoms and would now be self isolating until 30 days where I would likely be clear of any virus if I was infected, I would certainly not be offering myself up to these people to be locked up and put at risk in some gov quarantine center or hospital were my wallet would be heavily drained  for no good reason

There are no places in that list on the west side of Pattaya. There might be one or two on the Dark Side.

FYI - the two places in Pattaya mentioned

Hops bar is on soi 13/1 next to beach road

The Differ is a large nightclub on the road behind Terminal 21 (Phettrakul)

Nation reporting this very late also. These places have been in the public domain for a while. If you want up to date stuff from Chonburi, look no further than the Pattaya news.

If you want to be pedantic it is Hops Brew House - it is a bar and also pizza I think

All Pattaya has not been shut down and there is freedom of movement.

Closing bars, karaoke's etc is a sensible precaution in a higher risk area.

Yes it is..... why do you think not.

The name was changed 18 months to 2 years ago

Restaurant on 2 floors serving a lot more than pizza with a bar you can sit at and live music.

Brewery 90 was the cause of some 80 infections.  No wonder they want these places shut.

Not actually been in, just walked past, but the sign outside says Pizza

Everything east of BKK is the dark side.

Unless I was having a very Senior moment, I read a Post on here early this Morning , which stated there were 2 Confirmed Cases at the Siam Country Club.

The Post has since been pulled, possibly because of poor PR about Golf  Clubs and ASQ Quarantine. Although, I believe SCC was not on the original Government list of 6 Clubs. For sure they would have been pushing to be Number 7.

According to Pattaya News 1 case today in Banglamung, a family member of someone already infected.

We have been  meant to have multiple cases in our village but pretty sure not true. I am pretty sure if they detect a case in an area they will come and spray disinfectant  everywhere and that hasn't happened.

Why no gambling dens listed here

Like prostitution, there is no gambling in Thailand.........

None of the Banglamung locations are on the dark side! We are not clubbers pubbers and barflys over here! Don't blame Wuflu on us!

I get it, but there is The Differ Club in Pattaya on the list. Quite a popular place for Thais live music.

Sometimes all goes wrong :crying:

Yes Sattahip is part of Chonburi.

"Hops bar" was a bit misleading.

It's by no means a typical bar but a popular restaurant and micro brewery known as Hops Brew House.

By far the most prominent in the list.
