Drugs and sex parties: Woman claims what life is like for a ‘pretty’ in Thailand

Daily News spoke to a entertainment woman or "pretty" hired frequently for drugs and sex parties. 

 

Their investigation came after the death of a 34 year old woman called Wawa who died in hospital after attending a party in Soi Sena Nikhom in Chatuchak district of Bangkok.

 

"Miss Cake" (an assumed name) told the press that she was formerly a "dek lounge" or cocktail lounge woman. 

 

Her new employment as an entertainment pretty was not so different to that. 

 

These kinds of parties have always existed, she said, but recently they had been going on more at houses because of the closure of premises during the pandemic. 

 

Pretties know the score, she said and are sent to the parties by "modelling agancies" who explain exactly what is expected of them. 

 

There are three categories known as "En-Up" , En-V or just "Entertainment".

 

En-Up means that ectasy will be available though it is referred to as "khanom" (sweeties) in the trade. 

 

She said that it affects the women in different ways but when combined aith sniffing ketamine it can cause breathing difficulties. 

 

She said that good "sweeties" from abroad cost 900-1000 baht but the Thai sweeties are poor quality and only 500 baht.

All pretties take drugs in one form or another, she claimed. 

 

Police continue to investigate the death of Wawa or Witchayaporn Wisetsombat at a house on Tuesday.

 

Thaivisa has reported that five men were at the party including a "man of means".

I wonder if anyone ever considers why girls seem so happy to be prostitutes in Thailand when most other countries see it as being a very damaging and harmful enterprise?  Could it be that something that happens to girls in Thailand as they develop makes them already damaged?  The love of money perhaps?  Or the general acceptance that whatever men do is ok?

Dunno about that, I always had to pay to go to those sort of parties, even when I were young.

People attractive enough to be paid to participate in free sex, free drugs and free booze events don't know how lucky they are.

I see it as the opposite way round, it's our western women that are damaged and behave in unnatural ways.

Odd that many see our way (the western way of the last 50 years) as the only proper and the moral way.

Our (modern way) is unsustainable, while we allow our women to refuse to breed with us, and our population subsequently declines, (to be replaced with less progressive cultures) our way of life is doomed.

A good friend of mine, who used to run the largest HIV foundation in Thailand, told me it is a well known fact among the NGO community worldwide, that per capita, there are far more women involved in the sex trade in the US, than in Thailand. But, it is so deep underground, few know about it. I believe it.

 

And while you may see it as a harmful and damaging enterprise, there are alot of women making a very good living from it, and many of them are not harmed or damaged, as long as they are smart, careful and get out early enough. And part of the decision to do the work here, stems largely from the lack of sad and soul destroying guilt, that most women have about sex in the West.

I lived with Thai lady who was a nymphomaniac, she used to say ........

"I want sex, a lot of sex, at least 5 orgasms a day, and if guys want to give me money for something I would do anyway ..... why not?"

I don't really think so, because I don't see the way women behave in Thailand viewed as some sort of lack of influence.  As in, I don't think we have this situation because Thai women are free from pressure or influence during their development, so I don't believe it is the case that what we see is women behaving naturally when they have no one telling them how to behave when they are growing up.

 

We know that Thai education is very much "indoctrination style".  There is also this rampant love of money, like you can see women checking out a few hundred/thousand baht like its a juicy steak.

 

Sexual abuse is quite common in Thailand and it seems that not a lot is done about it and generally "that's just what men are like" seems to be the rationale.  There is a well established link between sexual abuse and sex work.

 

Thai women are also pressured to support the family.

 

Whilst we might not be "naturally" long term monogamous, there's a lot of evidence to suggest that sex involves some form of bonding, even only if it is short-term.  Even if in nature we might have alpha males and harems, or short term bonding so that a man and woman are drawn together during copulation and through pregnancy, it still suggests that the type of sex that happens with prostitution is not natural.

 

We also have the fact that prostitutes generally have sex with men who are unattractive/repulsive to them and might treat them badly, simply to get the money.  I don't think even in non-monogamous nature there would be that.

1)Sexual abuse as defined by our pseudo Christian (sex is bad, men are evil abusers) anti-male feminised society.

 

2) Most men aren't considered attractive by women, ergo 90% of women are having sex with unattractive men, it's either that or give up on their dream of a free house.

Your question is so loaded I'm not sure I can answer it.

 

If your question was "what do you mean by sexual abuse?", I would answer something like an adult sexually touching or having sex with someone, either against their will or who is a minor.  Fairly standard.

Thank god there are some normal people here.  Back home I'm quite antifeminist, but I talk to people around here and it's all "well if the man does that then he can't help it because he is a man", "rape is sometimes ok", "prostitution is totally the natural way that women are without the fascist puritan values we have in the West".  JFC.

The few pretties I knew were very much in control of their own lives, some enjoying life to the full but others quite conservative.

There are plenty of girls in Thailand who like to party. Give them a couple of tequilas and let them dance and smoke and they have fun. And obviously some males will also be there because obviously someone has to pay for the party.

So far that exist in every town and every bar and club in Thailand.

And so called pretties even get paid to party.

The problem is obviously that some of those girls get too drunk and don't know anymore what they are doing. And/or they wanted to get so drunk that they don't remember much of what happened.

And if it would all be so horrible then I am sure the girls would stop latest after the first party like: I will never do that again.

At the end of the day we all chose what we do with out lives. It's their choice - including possible risks.

2 points  to answer,

1) I don't believe there are any Thais forced to **** men, it's their own lazy/greedy choice, plenty of factory jobs.

2) Everything most people do, for fun, damages either their physical or mental health.

 

My own 'pretend wife' being one of them.

She could get a legit job if she wanted, I paid for her to go to high school, then attend university.

She's educated, she has choices, and her choice is to sleep with me for 10kbht month (yeah, Im surprised as well).

Lovely girl by the way, nearly half my age, way beyond my normal reach back in the Uk.
