UPDATE :   Rumak  has also postponed this JAB  indefinitely .........  until they can catch me and

hold me down !

Why not just give Rumaks vaccine to someone sensible and leave Rumak to risking his life? Also make sure he is locked down so he cannot infect the 5-10% of those not fully protected by vaccines.

Vaccines don't just protect you they help to protect others.

...and the Thai vaccine farce continues. If they'd had the foresight to be part of Covax then they would already be administering hundreds of thousands of shots.

  • His Chinese masters friends objected to him using the Az jab perhaps?

Blaming Prayuth for the failure of the leading countries of the world to help their fellow man.

Covid-19 vaccines are being hoarded by rich countries — poor ones are missing out

Higher income countries like the U.S. and the U.K. are putting themselves at the front of the line — that's obviously what's happening," one expert said.

Lost among the jubilation of America's vaccine rollout this week is an uncomfortable reality: The world's poorest countries will have to wait months and possibly years to see any doses at all.

The U.S., Canada, Britain and the European Union have pre-ordered enough Covid-19 shots to inoculate their populations several times over, subject to regulatory approvals.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/covid-19-vaccines-are-being-hoarded-rich-countries-poor-ones-n1251351

Canada has ordered a staggering 362 million doses for their population of only 37.6 million. However they have struggled to get their vaccination program underway with only around 1.1 million of their citizens getting their first shot.

And your problem with it is?

Think of it as the situation in an aircraft when masks are deployed.

Standing instruction is to put your mask on first, then assist others.

I have no doubt that when UK, US et al have vaccinated our own people, we will be helping others, some of whom need help, but some of whom haven't bothered to plan...mentioning no names!

This is NOT a technical problem. This is a bureaucratic problem, of their own making. Let us be honest, just once.

Please elaborate.

A source close to the matter has told me what the 'technical problem' is...

…he can't decide which arm

Sorry l thought you were going to stick it in a brown envelope not in my arm

'cos the left one doesn't know what the right one's doing?

".. Due to technical problem " ????????... He used to be fairly thin skinned before, maybe turned thick skinned and needle bends 555

Now he knows how expats feel when dealing with Immigration. Hope he has got the rest of the paperwork correct with all the copies. Or maybe he has been consulting Macron and is over 60. Still avoiding Wufluvac I see!

I read the article and the link. It says that the vaccine shipment had a certificate of use applicable

to South Korea and not Thailand. You cannot just tippex out one country and replace with another.

Me you or anyone else on this forum could not say for sure how this happened. Perhaps Thailand

bought some excess stock from Korea, maybe the Koreans exported the wrong batch.

Whatever happened, no government would inject its population with a vaccine which wasn't

certified for use in their country, and I doubt you would volunteer to take an uncertified vaccine.

I suspect that AZ was trapped by customs!  A minor misspelling of the name can cause the shipment to be rejected!!

The vaccine was certified for Korea, not Thailand, do the research!

Prayut isnt totally stupid then ????

How many percent would you estimate?

Many of the richer Nations pledged a couple of Days ago, to extend the amount of Money they are giving to the Covax Scheme.

Thailand is way behind the curve on vaccine rollout for their Population

Placing all their hope and trust into one Vaccine option seems to have backfired big time

I thought they had plans to make the AZ vaccine in Thailand and also use the sinovax version.

That's 2 options there straightaway.

I certainly want the vaccine but they all need specific storage and transport requirements.

At this point I do not trust how any of this will be handled here.

Yes, I can imagine.

Unless it has gone off, turned green, grown 7 legs and is snarling at you, they'll inject it into your arm anyway!

So they are planning on vaccinating 10 million per week from June??. They can't even vaccinate 1 per week. Muppets

So surely this is not a technical  problem, but an administrative one?  If they can't even diagnose a problem correctly, what chance have they got of solving it?

They are thick and are arrogant so assume everyone else is as thick as they are mate.

For me, there has been another issue we don't know about and this is the cover up excuse.

That must be why the condoms here don't work for me.

So small they burst when I put them on.

Made for and in Thailand

And why he does not change to sinovac?

I just can't help myself today. Was the technical problem owing to the one syringe seizing up on the PM or had the saline crystallized.

Never mind.

Could have "manned up" and gone ahead with the Sinovac vaccine  jab that had  the accompanying letter saying "Nihao from Xi"

But the PM only wants AstraVeneca [wonder why]

In the article it said that the sinovac wasn't suitable for the over 60's , although I thought that

was what the French and Germans were saying about the AZ version.

It is all very confusing and I will be the first to admit that I'm not an expert epidemiologist.

The Simple Affairs Complications Office is waiting for specific documentation for Thailand from AstraZeneca. In the meantime, they waste 117,600 doses of vaccine

There is far more to the repeated delays and excuses about this particular vaccine than we are told. Didn't we read here about a month ago that AZ were reconsidering sending the vaccine to Thailand because a protester had been arrested for questioning why a company involved with a certain person had been given exclusive rights to it?

Meanwhile, this is rather like those messages we get on websites that say 'This video is not available in your region'.

Does the vaccine vary by country?

Are Thai people different to Korean people?

Should be "certified for human use", not by country.

I don't take things at face value and believe them and consider that "research".

I doubt it arrived.

first one done, almost, already!

120.000.000 to go ????
