By PETER VINCENT FOR DAILY MAIL AUSTRALIA

A Thai woman alleged to have scammed $9.7million out of lonely men in a series of financial crimes has been denied bail - for the third time.

Siriluck Fatima Chimmalee, 28, unsuccessfully represented herself at a bail hearing in the New South Wales Supreme Court on Tuesday - and will later face 103 charges.

She is alleged to have claimed to be a pilot, a lawyer, medical student and a handbag designer as part of alleged scams, which were believed to support her luxury lifestyle.

Her crimes are alleged to have included collecting money from Thai nationals to remit on their behalf and using the personal information of men she met online to apply for loans and credit cards and to register businesses intended to securing more credit.

  • That's correct, we have a "New South Wales" now. The old one has been shut down, leaving residents of Cardiff and Swansea bewildered.

Must be a clever person to get a foreigner a credit card, judging from the stories I read on here of people unable to get a credit card from a Thai bank even with hundreds of thousands in the bank

Judging from your previous posts, I would have thought lingerie inspector rather than handbag designer.

Not everyone knows that NSW is not in the UK, but actually where they sent the UK convicts, so it's actually an Australian state full of Brits.

Do you know where Hasselt or Diest are?

Srathfield NSW Australia

She is alleged to have claimed to be a pilot, a lawyer, medical student and a handbag designer. She must have flown herself to the courthouse, walked in carrying a designer handbag, represented herself with a closing argument of "trust me I'm a doctor.

She might find the legal system in NSW to be somewhat different to Thailand.

I have several Thai credit cards both personal and business as well as debit cards for Thai bank accounts.

For some banks you need to have held a work permit for minimum two years.

Remember convictions abroad and especially in Australia don't count in Thailand, regardless of the severity of the crime and sentence.

The Deputy Agriculture Minister can testify to that.
