Chuwit Kamonwisit - a legendary former politician and nightclub owning playboy in Thailand - has been giving the public the benefit of his experience in the nighttime entertainment field.

He went on Facebook to explain how the rich and famous party and how they should own up to this and be "real men" to stop the spread of Covid, reported Naew Na.

He spoke of places like "Crystal Club" where membership for VIPs can run up to a million baht and where the wealthy are whisked from car to suites to hide their identity.

"Don't be shy - no need to hide it", he said, be brave and admit it.

He spoke of experiences at a number of clubs where government ministers, MPs, advisors and police mingled with Japanese businessmen.

He appeared to feel sorry for the hostesses who would have to hear stories of multi million baht deals  and cater to their every whim for tips.

They would share glasses and be given drugs, he claimed, in a lurid set of accusations about people who would "party with young women then go home and hug their wives and children".

Chuwit is well known for such outbursts.

He once ran for office being featured on finger pointing billboards saying he was going to root out corruption.

He later had his own TV show and has never been far from the media spotlight.

Chuwit's comments came after two cabinet ministers reportedly visited a night entertainment venue in Thong Lor linked to a Covid -19 cluster.

Print media in Thailand suggested both would be asked to give details of their movements to a House committee.

Neither have been named but senior officials have said that they are obliged by law to explain their movements.

He is starting to look really old. But he does know where all the bodies are buried. And when he comes out with these things, he usually is pretty accurate about what happened.

  • Tell it like it is..and most of us know already.

  • Nice to see you back, Chuwit!   Keep blowin' that whistle of yours, old boy! ????

Could be much more 'juicy' than many farang realize...

And it goes both ways:

  • Wealthy Thai men and working girls, and
  • Wealthy Thai women and working boys...

I'm sure he 'fact' her all right.

Thong Lor is notorious for its police pee-testing farangs on the sidewalk.  Not surprised it is now hosting VIPs breaking all Health & Safety rules/laws. The accused have been invited to explain themselves sometime this century but certainly after the Songkran Diaspora.

Was just about to say the same, he has really lost some substance. He was a real bruiser in his day.

I loved it when he took back his police boxes.

less so when he destroyed the market on soi 10 Sukhumvit  overnight, and built a park that was only open before 8 am to make amends. even less so when took the parkland back after the dust has settled.

He is a hypocrite like all the rest. smutty fingers in dirty pies.

The videos would be better and cause more destruction of these people

But it is quite a sight when one of them goes rogue and rats out all the others.

Along with Lumphini the most corrupt cop shop in Thailand and the most lucrative for officers.

No wonder this has occurred on their patch.

Add this to Red Bull Boss, Santika fire and numerous other allegations. ????

Moments ago the PM was quite hot about Chuwit, and threatened to sue him.

Priorities sir. Focus on the virus. Deal with playas later.

Hopefully one of those with rapidly-rising flood-water.

You mean with them in it. Such a lovely thought that they might get their own bit of CV-19 from there. Unfortunately their heads are so big they wouldn't sink.

Don't forget tolerance of irregularities works both ways !!

Contrary to the last paragraph the 2 ministers are for transport and rhe government spokesman.
on top of it 2 high ranking generals.

problem is, they don't want to admit being at cristal and do carry on daily routines. That is a similar story with cassino in rayong. That's why those clusters became big, despite not big crowds passing through.

thonglor cluster has many celebrities, they are also try to keep it private. But large lists are appearing on the net

Doesn't phase me! I am pretty squeaky.

6 new cases today in Rayong province, all Japanese business men who had been partying at Thonglor!
