Anutin's party hits back at calls for health minister's resignation

The Bhumjaithai Party has hit back at calls for the resignation of Anutin Chanvirakul as Thailand's health minister.

 

An online petition started by a group of disgruntled doctors had garnered 83,770 supporters by yesterday at 4.19pm reported Sanook.

 

But on the party's "Proud to be Thai page" there are now listed 12 reasons why Anutin is great. 

 

It should be noted, Sanook omitted to mention this, that Anutin is the leader of Bhumjaithai and owes his position in the cabinet because of  PM Prayut Chan-ocha's need of his support, notes Thaivisa.

 

Here are the 12 reasons why "Anutin is NOT a failure":

 

1. He has provided 2 million doses of Sinovac and 5 million more doses and sorted the AstraZeneca production.

 

2. 61 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine will start to become available in June.

 

3. He has provided 5 million pills of Covid treatment medication.

 

4. He has solved mask and PPE shortages within the health service.

 

5. He has created 45,000 new jobs to support those in the health service.

 

6. He has raised the allowance for public health volunteers in every village nationwide by 500 baht.

 

7. He had brought in seven more cancer radiation equipment pieces.

 

8. He has opened clinics for the elderly on weekends.

 

9/10 He has increased the availability and use of the "Bat Thong" or gold card for Thais to use the public health service.

 

11. He has opened 200 ganja clinics.

 

12. He has promoted marijuana as an economic crop bringing a new way of earning a living to the people.

165,200 with over 4000 new signatures since I first check about an hour ago.

These are the absolute worst 2 things he and his trainer have done to the people. For this him and his trainer should be tarred and feathered.

1. Sinovac is kowtowing to China and CP. Useless vaccine that should be sent back to China via nuclear warhead. CV-19 is tho9guht to come from them, so why reward the red devil.

2. Waiting and only giving this company to produce them is a bad choice hurting Thailand rather than helping the people. Shame on him and them.

Anutin the great.. what did he do? he bought vaccines too late, he bought b quality vaccines, whta he ordered  a 20 year old can order masks and gloves .. so if that is what he did it is a reason more to resign. But he blamed too the falangs for bringing the Covid and damaged the tourism, he didn't respond for a whole year to make a plan for vaccinations and didn't take part in international Covax vaccin organistaion. He told recently that he was not resposible.. yes very good Anutin .. now we know and leave

He should have resigned, or been replaced in March of 2020, after Covid broke out. He was in way over his head long before Covid came around. He lacks experience, a background in the health field, and the only reason he was appointed, and is still in this position, is due to the power and the influence he has over his party. There is NO other reason. 

 

Get out. Get out now. Hopefully the people will no longer stand for incompetence. Not during an emergency. Not now.

Didn't he also ship millions of masks to China and leave the people of Thailand with pretty much no masks as well in the beginning of the Covid outbreak ?
