If he contacted medical team of Koh Tao Hospital from hotel (as reported by Daily News) one would expect likely using a phone - but agree it was not so reported and likely the hotel that did it - reporting is not that accurate - was my point.

Youre right.  The group of cops caught red handed  recently who were involved in the Taiwanese kidnap and extortion case were just being helpful,  the cop who shot that nasty noodle vendor would, I am sure, argue the same.  And what about the ones helping those poor pretties cross the border illegally during a pandemoc lockdown....absolute heros.  Others helped Yingluck escape arrest by ferrying her into Cambodia purely out of the goodness of their hearts.  Should I go on or are you already hiding under your bed?

Was this guy trained in Scotland Yard? Huh? It is very difficult for adults to drown in a relatively small pool. It is very easy to make it to the shallow end of the pool, sink to the bottom, and walk along the bottom, swim underwater to the shallow end, or just grab onto the side of the pool. There is about a 1 in 48,000 chance this was a drowning. The fact that this happened on Dark Tao increases that number to about 1 in 248,000. The fact that it happened to both of them, increases the numbers to about 1 in 1,250,000. 

 

Never believer the Tao police. Ever. Their reputations are tarnished beyond repair, as it is obvious they have let the serial killer Namsod ply his trade there for years. It is also obvious that certain Tao families are way above the law.

 

Something does not pass the smell test here. And when that happens, there is much more than meets the eye. Especially the eyes of a "Dark Tao detective", as oxymoronic as that term sounds.

what!...how can they speculate...they need a post mortem before they jump to any conclusions..the initial post mortem takes a few hours but blood analysis can take up to six weeks for a full toxicology profile...give them a break.

So he saw them in the pool and went to call for help and then call hospital. He didn't dive in to take them out?

Seems to me that a 5 star resort would have CCTV coverage of the pool area and staff working nearby…

Drowning in a pool is possible...but two people at the same time...it's not one jumped into rough ocean surf to save someone who was drowning and drowned themselves. I would check who stands to benefit most and the key may be the last past. 

Drowning in a pool is most certainly possible and apparently this one was around 2 meters so it's feasible. But you question whether 2 people can drown. That is also feasible.

 

If one party got into difficulties and the other attempted to help them, it can be a double tragedy waiting to happen. A trained rescuer is taught to be very wary of the victim panicking and grabbing hold of the rescuer. This can result in both parties struggling to survive.

 

Trained rescuers learn to keep clear of the victim, even by pushing or kicking them away if necessary and endeavor to restrain the victim from behind. An untrained rescuer would not be aware of the dangers.

 

I can easily visualize how this tragedy occurred and yes, I have taken both Royal Life Saving Institute training and the PADI rescue diver courses.
