The pricing for subscriptions to the new Disney+ streaming service have been confirmed for users in Thailand

The company has announced that a monthly subscription will cost 99 THB, while a yearly subscription costs 799 Baht. Two devices can be used on one subscription.

AIS customers can also get the service even cheaper, at just 35 THB per month for the first year, as long as they sign up before June 27.

The service will officially launch in Thailand on June 30.

Subscribers will be able to access over 700 movies and 14,000 series from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, Star Wars, National Geographic, among others, the company said.

More information can be found on the Disney+ website

Their goal - to steal all the market I suspect, hence the low price.

Not that low ......... same price as HBO Go.

I just pre-registered for 35bht/month using my AIS phone number.

Got the confirmation SMS but no details on how to pay.

Currently the Disney+ app doesn't seem to be available to download here in Thailand from the Google Play Store.

Presumably this will change once the service is officially launched??

I had the channel for a year while I was in the US and after the first week that I watched everything that was interesting to me , there was nothing else to watch. Most everything good I had seen already. So after the year subscription was over I cancel it.

But that's just me and my particular interests, others might find it interesting, it is certainly cheap enough.

Perhaps if they offered a free one week trial period without me having to give them any credit card info, I would try it to see if they got any new content that would be of interest to me.

Pertty amazing price.

I think it's $80 per year in the U.S. $7.99 /month.

Note that special releases can be extra charge; Premium Access. I think Black Widow will be in this category at $30. So early access, premium access lasts 15 - 90 days.

No clue what the local library will look like? 100%? Can't imagine evverthing  has been subbed and dubbed yet?

They take the 35bht from your AIS SIM credit.

No credit cards.

My first 4 months (2nd month free) will be covered by a 100bht top-up.

Not bad, I heard they bought up most of the content that Netflix has been using for the last few years.

No, they own a lot of content that Netflix has been using for the last few years, and are simply taking it back instead of renting it out.
