Until it is legal and the sweet smell of one of the worlds most underrated aphrodisiacs fills the evening sea air...

What a day that will be!

When do we get to grow the six plants per household we were promised?

Wonder how the locals will function when fully "turned on".

Don't know about the future but I sure remember the past. Thai Buddha sticks. Smuggled into Aus in 44 gallon drums welded to the bottom of cargo ships.

Pity no weed emoji anymore.

After happiness is returned to the people, they have a TWENTY YEAR PLAN, and they're not afraid to not use it.

The more they cock it up, the better for everyone in the long run. The mob will hopefully chase them into the river soon, then everyone can get back to 24/7/365 party time like in the pre Taksin days.

Sorry but nomenclatures like that are hardly likely to trip of the tongue of a stoner in the same way as

" pass the purple haze man " or

" I'm loading some AK-47 in me bong " ..

Unfortunately commoners, it's illegal for you to grow.  But the Friends of Anutin will become rich and wealthy. Happy days for the rich and wealthy allowed to prosper in the cannabis industry!
"Commoners! Don't try it!  Jail time for you!"

They should grow Amsterdam Ablaze, the best homegrown <deleted> in the world.

They as they don't legalise smoking it, the stuff stinks. Thailand doesn't need more drugs - it cannot even currently handle alcohol.

But I support your right to smoke it up half way up a hill away from me and my family !

Just wondering if this is the stuff Prayut and other head of government been smoking when the envisage 600,000 tourists coming in in the next 3 month...

Never, the cabal never lets a good crisis go to waste.

In ancient times (1970s) I knew of an old women fortune teller in Bkk who sat on a blanket near Hualumpong who also sold sticks. Damned if I can remember how I found out about her.

After being away for a while I went to see her and when she saw me approaching she made gestures to shoo me away.

Well the cops finally busted Madame Marie for telling fortunes better than do.

That’s a Bruce Springsteen lyric. I think Madame Marie would be a good name for a Thai strain.

Just wait until your Big C receipts have adverts like this on the back.

Wow, the last time I saw a policeman holding cannabis was in less pleasant circumstances.

still... everytime I see anything to do with cannabis in this country it makes my blood boil. I think back to that poor Dutch guy who had his life wrecked by the Thai officials who plundered his wealth (and threw him in jail for many years) for themselves under the guise of Thai law.... and that guy had been legally selling cannabis in Holland!!! And now its all smiles and pics with marajuana plants.... the hipocracy and corruption is defo getting worse here.

Larfy and leafy indeed, just look at the top of that thing Anutins cutting, they know best though! Their "cannabis" industry, so far just seems like a huge waste of potential and such a shame.

He was doing slightly more than that! Money laundering and organized crime, I believe.
