BANGKOK, June 21 (TNA) – Four strains of Thai cannabis will be registered and studied for the development of medicine to repair COVID-damaged lungs.

 

Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul presided over a ceremony to hand heads of four strains of Thai cannabis to researchers.

 

The four strains are Hang Kra Rog Phu Phan ST1, Hang Suea Sakonnakhon TT1, Tanao Si Kan Khaw WA1 and Tanao Si Kan Dang RD1.

Don't know about the future but I sure remember the past. Thai Buddha sticks. Smuggled into Aus in 44 gallon drums welded to the bottom of cargo ships.

The more they cock it up, the better for everyone in the long run. The mob will hopefully chase them into the river soon, then everyone can get back to 24/7/365 party time like in the pre Taksin days. 

Until you grow your own 6 plants....AND keep the flower to use as you'd like, it's all garbage. They have so many rules now, it's not even worth it. Who give permission to have plants, but not the flower? Strangest thing I've ever seen.

They as they don't legalise smoking it, the stuff stinks. Thailand doesn't need more drugs - it cannot even currently handle alcohol.

 

But I support your right to smoke it up half way up a hill away from me and my family ! 

Just wondering if this is the stuff Prayut and other head of government been smoking when the envisage 600,000 tourists coming in in the next 3 month...

Wow, the last time I saw a policeman holding cannabis was in less pleasant circumstances. 

still... everytime I see anything to do with cannabis in this country it makes my blood boil. I think back to that poor Dutch guy who had his life wrecked by the Thai officials who plundered his wealth (and threw him in jail for many years) for themselves under the guise of Thai law.... and that guy had been legally selling cannabis in Holland!!! And now its all smiles and pics with marajuana plants.... the hipocracy and corruption is defo getting worse here.
