It is very possible that this is another such spike, and the numbers will drop sharply tomorrow. What will your response be if it doesn't. We already know you will say "told you so" if the numbers dip. Go on now.....please explain and without saying it's because of new clusters found....Covid is Covid, and it got there somehow and will continue getting elsewhere, well thats my view.

But it's only figures anyway. The spikes are not just on Tuesdays, they are seen on Sundays and Mondays. I am guessing that these spikes are due to backlogs of lab tests being processed in one day. But they seem to be artifacts.

Apparently false positives are quite common, although your next test might be a few boring days away. Someone I know was sent home, told to isolate and wait by the phone. Was then picked up late the next day to start 2 weeks in a hospital facility. Thai overseas embassies are not equipped to handle large numbers of applications. Nor will large numbers of potential tourists bother with a COE.

Think most folk that will come will be expats. Not all expats with wife etc actually live in Thailand. This sandbox thing, it's difficult to even know if non O etc will be able to use this 'back door'. Some announcements seem to indicate yes and some no. If it's a yes then my thinking many of the sandbox numbers will be expats and Thai. Edited June 22, 2021 by DrJack54

Popular Post law ling
... and RIP to the 35 deceased ... possibly an uncomfortable death - with tubes and ventilators ... and very alone - family no doubt prohibited on medical grounds, and nurses in full protective gear - so you're denied even the touch of a kind nurse ... I dare say some terror in the whole process - waiting until an angel comes to take you (or whatever happens at death)
