A chilling video on YouTube showed the moment when a woman calmly doused a motorcycle in a school parking lot in Bangkok in gasoline.

 

It cuts out as she sets fire to the bike then moves onto the aftermath.

 

That bike and up to a dozen others were all left charred along with blackened remains of the car park roof. 

 

Thong Lor police and fire services attended the arson attack with the blaze being brought under control in ten minutes. 

 

It was in the Asoke area, Sukhumvit Soi 23 at a demonstration primary school attached to a university.

Police said the fire was on the third and top floor of the parking building and was started by the wife of an official at the school. 

 

It appears that she is still angry after they split up three months ago and was seeking revenge. 

 

Thong Lo police are trying to find her reported Daily News yesterday.

It was a targeted attack.. so i would say her ex b/f husband was the one who identified her.

why did she not move the bike before setting it on fire and destroying other peoples property

Silly moo - she's about o get hit probably with 500,000-1,000,000 baht claims now for new bikes during the pandemic. Could even make her homeless and jobless.

Probably did not think it would damage the other bikes. Not smart but i think a lot of people underestimate fire.

I watched this on TV, she nearly did go up with it.

A woman scorned.  Well he may be without his motorbike but at least she didn't take a knife to his genitals.  As none of us know the reason for the split it is silly to speculate just how justified her actions may have been.  It all seems pretty tame to me.

Underground car parks usually have buildings on top of them.  This could have been much worse.

This is why you have a burner phone and burner bike.   His day-to-day car is a Lambo.   

 

Defense?   Yes, your honor, a ghost was living on his bike and not letting me win the lottery.

Hardly a chilling video, if she had marched into the husband/boyfriends office & doused him in petrol - as we have seen how many times here ? And set fire to him, now that would be chilling, she's stoopid, no doubting that with a kindergarten above, yes. Chilling no.
