The Thai government had more bad news from another poll. After a Super Poll said politicians should all take a pay cut as they were nothing but a bunch of corrupt and bickering annoyances, came the latest Suan Dusit university poll.

From June 28th to July 1st they asked 1,744 people questions under the umbrella: How will Thais win the Covid-19 battle?

Their general views on the pandemic revealed 91.95% thought about economic hardship and people out of work.

85.86% were worried about the effect of new variants.

81.78 pointed to the mental stress of the pandemic.

As far as the government performance went 66.05% gave PM Prayuth Chan-ocha and his team the thumbs down for their handling of the pandemic.

20.36 were not sure.

Only 13.59% thought they were doing a good job.

When asked how the virus could be beaten, 87.25% wanted to see quality vaccine rolled out, 80.16% suggested more help for health workers and more equipment supplies and 79.53% called for the spread to be stopped by shutting down infected places.

So who should be in charge? 67.04% went for the infectious diseases department. Less went for Anutin Charnvirakul's Health Ministry or the CCSA, Centre for Covid Situation Administration, reported Sanook

86.84% demanded that politicians work for the people and 82% said they should take a pay cut while 81.94% called for more cooperation between the government and the opposition.

This has to be fake news. Who on earth can make a case that a third of the nation approves of his handling of Covid? Really? Come on.

If they were the last of the loyal followers before, they have abandoned ship now. He has not only destroyed tourism, but the economy too. This is an epic sabotage and wave of destruction, that Prayuth, Anutin, Phiphat, and the other goons have committed.

I think the destruction of tourism will be permanent. I do not think it will ever recover to even close to where it was before this. And it will take five years or more for the economy to recover. This is likely to be far worse than 1997. Self inflicted. Congrats Prayuth. You are destroying the little bit that is left of the well being of the nation and it's people. You need to resign asap. Please. Get out. Get out now!

This country will never rid itself of these marionettes, masquerading as an elected government,  until

the marionettists  are disposed of. The problem is the former have long tongues which the latter enjoys.

Thats a lot of people to send for attitude adjustment, but never mind, Pillock has the time to organize it, not as if he is busy procuring vaccines for the people.

The only thing that will cause the Czar to listen to the people is of they take to the streets across the nation. He is scared to death of people power and knows his security forces have limited capacity. Until such time the country will continue its accelerating slide into chaos.

don't be so generous. It's not their thumb that's up there it's their heads.

Super Poll - 1744 people questioned. = BS, Gimee a break!

They'll be a NIDA poll along soon  giving 98% satisfaction results.

The masses never understand anything.

Whatever parrot was put there, they would be mad at it.

Where oh where is the opposition party? they are toothless tigers who are responsible for allowing this inept government to reign supreme. Now the time they should strike out especially when the majority of people on their side.

We need Thaksin back, he would have done things moving, like Trump would have done in the US

It was only a survey that was responded to by 1744 people. Most couldn't understand the questions.

Is it still inevitable that the "security forces" will follow all orders regarding crowd control? The average soldier has a family too.....
