Only another 20 points or so and it will be at the level when we arrived and made our plans.

Along with that, fixed pension and other unexpected events puts a little stress on some.

Anyway,small murphy's.

I'm waiting for it to go 75 again like it did 2005.????

Hope so, I'd easily transfer enough deposit for a retirement visa as opposed  to a marriage one !

It was for nearly 2 weeks and I got my retirement money and cash for the Vigo I bought cash.

I switched to marriage and the money saved still the same money.

75.44 would have been better.

Yes, making the Thais pay double for their imports must fill you with much joy.

Yes...always nice to see THB lose some of it's strength. USD even gained 4.6% against the all-mighty baht this past month.

This is great news for many (although not for me). I remember one column of Project Fear was that the pound would crash to 30 THB post Brexit.

Yet here it is at 45. Up 10% and climbing. Funny that...

Back up to pre Brexit levels?

No?

OK.

That's how my wife got her house from her ex. Bless that bloke. But I've since had to replace all the nearly 20 year old lights, switches, electrical outlets, and plug the roof leaks.

Bought my house then and it cost about 600,000 Baht/8000 sterling. Paid for it in cash. Spent double that on bringing it up to date and it's probably worth 3.5 million now.

Whow !!  I only read somewhere 56 baht to US dollar one time.

Remember the time in 1999 I came to Bkk and there was unfinished fly-over all over the place and no-one working them.

Yeah sad and the rich and banks will stay rich and the numbers of poor will increase or die of covid.

Nearly all my wife's family are out of work now.
