Huh?

What end in sight

COVID era gonna be with the world for quite some time to come.

There does seem to be slight shift in mindsets and whatnot these days - instead of fighting it, accept it and get on with our lives.

This acceptance and living with it is beginning to be promoted by respected scientists, thinkers and the like.

Surely, not the most popular notion. Hence, why we don't hear/read too much of such "mad talk".

I agree with the "mad talk" part of your post.

Time for 100% reopening of the country within the next 3 months.

Cases going down as expected from anyone who has seen the trends of 7-day average graphs.

Back to normal for Thailand and a flourishing economy awaits.

Senior Arm Chair Fear Mongers will need to find a new job.

Better look again numbers are trending upwards again and those thought infected in BKK could be over half of the untested and unvaccinated population. But hey believe what you want.

LMAO going up guys!!!... for 1 day.  Sorry bub, Oct1 will have a lower 7 day average than what is shown this week.

It’s an up day today so expect plenty of reminders.

Strangely quiet yesterday for some reason.

Yes thats what restrictions and vaccinations do when they are put in place and extended till 30th Sept. They tend to bring down the virus.

Quite possibly the opposite.

The protests were not solely against the incompetence of the government with it's pathetic Covid  strategy, but more about it's shambolic 7 years in power.

The youth have realised that the government's main aim was always to appease the elite and affluent members of Thai society, and they don't really care about the rest. and will now increase their protests against the brutal police force and military factions.

So they'll be protesting the police's response to the protests?

I think Covid is far from over. Look at the UK, nearly fully vaxxed and they have 40,000 cases a day. Winter is coming up and there will be outbreaks in most countries, maybe other variants.

The only thing people can do is keep vaccinating and hope for the best.  Options (and money) are running out.
