One person dead, one seriously injured after pickup truck crashes into power pole in Ban Bueng

A 48-year-old male driver has been pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger has sustained serious injuries after a pickup truck crashed into a power pole in the Ban Bueng district this morning, October 28th, 2021.

 

Emergency responders were notified of the accident on the Nong Chark – Nernmok Road in the Nong Chark sub-district.

 

They arrived the scene to find the driver, Mr. Natee Sayla, 48, lying on the road outside of his heavily damaged pickup truck, having been thrown from the vehicle through his windshield. He was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.

Yea. i Knew a kid that just turned 18 at the time. Many years ago. Was going out with his mate on his new Honda Wave. Sad to say it was his last birthday. Was a good kid. Such a waste.

Oh, that nasty power pole fetish again.

Lock down the roads. Close the petrol stations. Ban new drivers. Shut down the whole system. It's an epidemic of death on Thai roads. No vaccine for inept drivers and a clueless government which is helpless to stem the carnage on Thai roads.

The government should mandate all pickups to be constructed from aluminum to defeat the electromagnetic effect of these dangerous power poles.....????

RIP to the driver. I think the seriously injured passenger has a lot more trouble in future times.
