Thai immigration online 90 day reporting system

Thailand’s Immigration Bureau has announced the launch of a new online 90 day reporting system.

 

The new system, which went live on Dec 2, is available under the Online Services section of the Immigration Bureau’s website, and by selecting TM47, which is the official name of the form used for 90 day reporting. 

 

To use the new online 90 day reporting system, foreigners must register here: https://tm47.immigration.go.th/tm47/#/register/add

 

Registration information must be submitted in English.

 

Once verified, a password will be sent to the registered email address (it took around 2 hours for us to receive the password - check your spam folder!)

 

Online 90 day reports can be used up to 15 days in advance of the date the 90 day report is due. 

 

Immigration says confirmation of the 90 day report should be returned within 3 days of it being submitted.

 

Foreigners can also use the same system to login and check the status of their application.

 

It should also be noted that the online 90 day reporting system can not be used if a foreigner is completing their first 90 day report, nor can it be used to complete the first 90 day report after receiving a new passport. 

 

In both instances, the foreigner needs to submit the 90 day report in person at their local immigration office. After that, they will be able to use the 90 day online system.

 

To coincide with the launch of the new online 90 day reporting system, the Immigration Bureau has also launched a new online appointment booking system, which allows foreigners to book an appointment at their local immigration office. 

 

Once selected, the appointment button gives users an option to select the region of the country where their nearest immigration office is located. 

 

At the time of writing, Bangkok Immigration (Division 1) was not listed in the online appointment system. It should also be noted the appointment system may not work if using a VPN.

It has already worked for somebody that could no use the online reporting before. His report is pending now.

I just registered. Took a few trys.

I previously have not been able to use online. Hopefully this will solve the issue.

Best thing since sliced bread if it does.

Not 100% convinced about registration. Prefer it when confirmation is sent to email address.

I am suspecting that for those who have renewed their passports while in Thailand but have visited immigration since then (e.g. did their annual extension), it will still not work ????

 

I hope I am wrong..

I did the registration and and it took almost exactly 2 hours to get the email into my spam folder. There are some posts about it in the pinned topic for online reporting.

I just tried to register, filled all the boxes along with the captcha letters. Then was taken to a page to type my e mail address and add a password. When I entered a password it told me invalid information. Do I need to wait for an e mail from them?

Whether in person, in writing, or online, what the heck does the 90 day report serve to accomplish?  I could be living at a totally different address then the one shown to immigration.  Does it mean I am still in Thailand?  Heck, passport records show that I have not left the country. 

The is a mandate in search of a need.

I think it will work now since you have to do a registration to do the report. The old system verified your existence using the info you put on page one.

You have to wait for a mail that will have your password in it. It took 2 hours to get mine. Check your spam folder to find it if it does not show up.

The report is sent to your local office for approval. They will verify your address used using their records.

Clarification needed if the "computer says no" also applies to those filing their first 90 day report after re-entering the country.

I think the current app is toast, just hasn't popped up yet.

 

Either they'll come up with a new mobile app, or simply direct folks with phones-only to the new web page?

The link below is my story in registering late 2 Dec and submitting a 90 day report this morning/3 Dec in the new system.   I included several snapshots in the link.

 

This new system seems to be working for me whereas the web extranet and mobile app 90 day reporting "never" worked for me....always got the error message to visit my local immigration office after entering the 1st page of data.

 

Time will tell if the new system fully works by giving me an "approved" report.  Right now my report is in pending status....hopefully it gets approved within 3 days.  But as mentioned I was never able to get this far with their other 90 day reporting systems. 

 

And be sure to check your email spam/junk folder as every email so far  generated to me by their new system has went to my gmail spam folder.

Log on credentials for the app will not work on the new system....I've tried already.  Apparently they are separate systems trying to do the same thing.

Just was sent my approval and the password.  Tried to reset the password but the link they send sends me to this page that well indicates its not working.  Also tried to see if it showed any prior 90 day reports by checking "Check The Status of Application (TM 47)" and it came back as none found.

In that case it should not be a problem to do ther report online.

You would put your new arrival date on the application for the report.

just got my password - into my GMail spam box.

I had to turn off my VPN to get access to the registration page, using Brave browser.
