Hope this deluge of ads isn't the new forum upgrades/additions that has been talked about. Or is it just me that is seeing so many?

Is too much. Reading with a Smartphone is nearly impossible.

2 ads bottom. One is permanent blinking. 100% Annoying. 5 seconds flick. You press skip add. And is coming again and again.

Yes ..... almost impossible to type a full reply without that damn, annoying video ad popping up every 10 seconds.

i've also started having extremely annoying video ads popping up, even when closed they just reappear. there are already too many ads on the site. please stop.

 

 

And it is blocking radio or other media players! 

 

Been thinking stop visiting, this could be the kicker.

I am getting the same, started today; it is intensely annoying. Is this one of @george's new ideas for the site? Hope not, needs ditching PDQ.

I've never accessed this site on a phone -- only a "trained" PC, so I don't experience this problem. From what I see posted here, I'd have to be very desperate for some info that's only available here or a needed reply to bother fighting with a screen full of annoying adverts, especially video ones.

It is. Especially on a forum, when the ads cover ur writing feld and ur keypad. 

I have taken the only route that allows me to read what I wish to without the annoyance.

Never seen so many pop up ads on top of the other ads on any website.

Ads. If you want us to read your items then get rid of the intrusive ads, especially the bloody latest one!!

What ads? Perhaps you need to update your OS to include ad blockers.

It was a real challenge to reply to a post on my phone.

 

I don't think we are allowed to discuss but just use a browser that does it pretty much automatically for you - Brave, Firefox etc.

I am not aware of any other site that has so many ads.  Ones that fill the screen when you first enter the site, ads between almost every post, and now an annoying video that slides in from the side, and wont go away.

I just tried to post and ended up buying penis size reduction pills by accident. 

I just tried the ASEANNOW site, using the Brave browser.

No ads but I can't find a way to login to the site using my normal credentials.  Is there a way to do this as it's not obvious, to me anyway.

Asean Now has to monetize this forum in order to continue the service. Who the hell wants to work for free? This forum is free to the public and the owner has a right to earn money from it any way that he can. I can ask visa questions on other fora and either get NO answer or the wrong information. Dealing with pop-up advertisements is a small price to pay to get access to accurate visa and immigration information.
