The chancellor, the most senior politician after the prime minister, and the health secretary have said they can no longer support Boris Johnson after he claimed to not know about 2019 allegations against MP Chris Pincher, who quit over groping claims.

Once even the sycophants see the light, the end is near.

I suspect this is the beginning of the end for Boris. Unfortunately there is no obvious replacement in the Conservative party and no credible opposition (unless you consider the likes of Starmer, Abbott, Lammy, Rayner to be credible ????).

Personally I'd go with Liz Truss or Dominic Raab. Or maybe The Moggster, just for giggles.

I do. Get that lying, cheating, corrupt slag Johnson out and give the others a chance.

Thanks goodness that I don't live in the UK now, or will ever again.  It's a basket case, run by muppets, with a feckless lazy workforce, who just want to holiday, strike for more pay they don't deserve or WFH.

The trainwreck of a Labour Party will have their chance at the next general election.

Who knows, if Stamer can figure out how to define a woman he might even get some votes.

Clearly you are ignorant. Of the goings on in the CON party over the past 24 hours. Check that out before calling any other party a "trainwreck'.

There's no need to start throwing insults around ????.

That's the trouble with the left, they just can stop the 'Be Kind' mask slipping when someone disagrees with them. Calling Johnson a slag in your last post, now calling me ignorant, you'd probably fit in well on Labour's front bench. Certainly with Rayner, who is another good example of this seething vitriol from the virtue signallers, and another example of why they have been out of power for over a decade with no light at the end of the electoral tunnel. Oozing malevolence from every pore, they fool no-one ????.

Is it any wonder they cannot get votes when their leader cannot define the gender of half of the electorate ????

Clearly, he is not.

The Tories are just going through a spell of making Labour look more appealing than they are.

Dianne Abbott anyone ?

No, me neither.

Any day of the week in comparison with Johnson and anyone else in his corrupt and mendacious cabal.

Who is in the cabinet now, by the way?

“Education secretary, Nadhim Zahawi, was appointed as the new chancellor. Zahawi made no comment when asked by press if he would “spray public money around to save Boris Johnson’s skin” before leaving in a ministerial car.”

Yes, Labour have been out of power for over a decade, and likewise the Tories have been in power for the same 12 years.

So if there are problems in the UK the Tories have had time to fix them ( or cause them):

Poverty and the cost of living crisis.

The crumbling NHS and ever increasing waiting lists.

Mental health services overwhelmed by demand.

The housing crisis.

Homelessness.

The social care crisis.

Failing public services across all sectors.

The collapse of policing in communities.

Air transport chaos.

Stagnant economic growth.

Corruption of ‘Chumocracy’ in Government.

Skills shortages and worker shortages.

UK borders open to all forms of smuggling.

The list goes on.

12 years in Government, it’s all on the Tories.

No, me neither.

The people who vote for Abbot don’t have a problem with her. She does a good job representing them, not representing ‘Old school chums’ and ‘Russian oligarchs’.

Great point, because there were never any problems under a Labour government ????.

There was far less poverty.

The NHS was not collapsing.

NHS waiting lists were shorter.

People could find a GP/Dentist

There were thousands more police officers and they answered 999 calls.

Poverty wasn’t causing millions of people in the UK to regularly skipping meals.

Welfare and public services were fully funded.

The economy wasn’t stagnant.

Billions of tax payer’s money was not being handed to old school chums.

Oh, and taxes were lower.

Lucky you weren't living in Iraq, having your family killed by Blair's illegal invasion based on the WMD lies.

Still, as long as you think your wait for a Dentist was shorter, that's the main thing...

But but but…… what’s that got to do with the problems people in the UK are facing in the UK right now as a direct result of 12 years of Tory mismanagement?

You know the stuff that actually impacts British voters everyday of the week?

Thankfully, at the last election - and the next - the citizens elsewhere thought differently.

The whole world is facing massive problems right now. You might have heard of a virus called Covid-19?

Now that Sunak bottled it and fled, is it possible his windfall tax on North Sea energy producers will be scrapped? It makes the UK look like a banana republic and totally uninvestable for serious players. The UK either has rule of law allowing companies to plan ahead, or it just dreams up taxes on a whim. Which is it to be?

This particular piece of smugness deserves its own response because it’s a clear indication of precisely how out of touch you, and this Government, are with the problems people in the UK are facing now.

The lack of access to dentists is a significant problem and a regular point of discussion, the perhaps you’ve never had a tooth ache.

The message is clear, whether it be access to dentists, GP’s, hospital care or even responding to a 999 call, the public have been abandoned by a government that has no concern for ordinary people.

The latter while the current quarterwitted government we have, remain in power.

Everyone’s back at work in the UK.

COVID is having near zero impact.

It’s not preventing police officers attending 999 calls.

It’s not the cause of the old and vulnerable being left without care.

It’s not the cause of the housing crisis.

It has of course been the excuse for the Government to hand tens of billions to their chums with zero benefit to the public.

Covid-19 put an incredible strain on the NHS. While the government's increased NHS spending and excellent vaccine management program helped matters, there is inevitably a backlog for treatment after such an incredibly destructive pandemic.

Ignoring the impact of Covid to score political points is disingenuous in the extreme.
