Before human trafficking police arrived Thai Rath managed to interview a Saraburi mother who sold her nine year old daughter for a sex molestation session with a man for 3,000 baht.

 

In addition she filmed the session making a further few baht. This ended up on social media being viewed by netizens and has now resulted in her arrest. 

 

Reporters went to a house in the Don Phut police jurisdiction where they interviewed "A", aged 26 the mother of "B", now 10.

 

She said a man contacted her on Facebook early last year and offered to pay money to do things with her daughter at a hotel in Nakhon Pathom. 

 

She filmed the illegal sex acts herself and never thought it would get out into the public domain and wondered how that happened. It was meant to be just for the man and he gave her 500-800 baht extra. 

 

She said she only did this once. She claimed she was poor and had no money and now says she won't do it again. She recognises now that what she did was wrong. 

 

Facing expected human trafficking charges she won't get the chance, notes ASEAN NOW. She is likely to be imprisoned for a very long time.

 

Online condemnation was swift and damning.

 

At 8.20pm last night Thailand's anti-human trafficking police, Don Phut cops, provincial police, tech police and social services descended on the house and took "A" away. It was unclear what happened to "B".

 

"A" was interrogated at the local police station for two hours.

 

"C" - the stepfather - said that he had known "A" for 5-6 years and looked after her two children as his own. 

 

On the day in question he said that he had driven his wife to Nakhon Pathom. She left him at a department store saying that she had something to do with the nine year old child.

 

He thought nothing of it and on their return his stepdaughter was fine and went to school as normal. 

 

It appears they were picked up by the man who took mother and daughter to the hotel for the molestation and video. 

 

He said that the children called him "Pa" or dad and he loved them as his own. 

 

He said he was an electrical meter checker and he earned plenty of money to take care of the family. 

 

This perhaps is the most damning comment of all coming as it does after the mother's claims of poverty as a reason for selling her daughter, notes ASEAN NOW.

How sick can people be, her own mother, and then the guy wanting that.

 

I would love to say, take them out back and s...t them in the back of the head at point blank.

Execute the  mother and pedo. Not fit to breathe. 

first of all - where is that man who payed. Possible to track him down through facebook correspondence, possible from details in this very video. Even checking hotel registration records.

Interesting question - who released this video to public domain?

not likely the man who molested the kid, so somebody accidentally came across it and put it on the net. That is also breaching the law, that was propagating pedofilia movie.

was the girl drugged with rehypnol? does she remember anything and can give some details?

How can a MOTHER not only do this to her dependent, but claim that it's the first time and suggest that she didn't know it was wrong!

 

This poor child needs to be taken far far away from that woman... forever!

Whilst not common (hopefully), this is not unusual.

My business partner (now deceased) had a similar situation.

Her mother is a compulsive gambler and was deep in debt. The mother tried to sell the granddaughter's virginity to clear the debt.

Luckily, my partner found out about it before the event and took her daughter away from the grandmother.

Very sad situation.

Child abuse is not taken seriously enough here. 20 years ago it was well known many underage girls were working in Soi Cowboy. There was a popular 13 year old from Surin in Black and White bar always being talked about on a forum still just about alive. I reported it to the Police at the time, nothing was done about it and the usual excuses of poverty from the punters, including a western Embassy official claiming they were helping the family out.!! I remember complaints from that forum that she did not do oral! Abuse of children is still quite common in the exploitation industry. both Thai and foreign.

May they rot in hell ????

Throw everyone involved in jail forever and throw away the key.

Sadly not an isolated case and it happens all over the world. Poor child.  Even the highest of penalties will not compensate for her horrifying experience.  

Poor girl. Betrayed in such a horrific way by her own mother. What an absolute monster.

So some man on Farcebook ,just contacts her out of the blue ,and says i would

like to molest your daughter ,i will give you money , more like she was pimping

her daughter out, she needs locking up.

What a contrast, some girls basically sell themselves to take care of their kids and family, in this case the reverse. Hopefully Thai society and those around this evil mother will ensure she pays a price. 

I temember my daughter being 9,she was the love of my lifei cant ever even imagine ltting anyone do that to her even for a million pounds

Said it before, repeating myself. The Death penalty should be handed down on all rapists, pedophiles and drug dealers.

In this particular case, throw the mother into the death row slammer too; there is no  other way to protect society from such evil elements. And then the question remains, where is the father of the child?

 

Other articles mention that she was a prostitute herself, too. Of course, in Thailand it's nothing unusual, but still...
