I guess it's pure luck that nobody in the immediate vicinity was wounded or killed like previous incidents when gung-ho cops shoot at cars.

Disappointed to find that the 'Red Mirage' is not some Marvelesque evil villain but just a potty little red car.

Me too! Lol..I thought it was a Thai name! So disappointed!

20 years hard labour will give him time to think about the stupid way he acted.

Just met the bloke.   He paid his 500 baht fine and we are having some drinks.

He has reportedly been arrested - Siam Rath had a picture of that - with Thong Lo police chief Pol Col Duangchote Suwanjarat saying that "ice" and a sword was found in the suspect's car.

Nice guy...

Feared arrest because of what he had in the car but not afraid to shoot at police. Classic.

Classic.  Where was it reported that he shot at police?

They found Ice and a sword in the car, so which one of those items did he use to shoot at police?????

Neither, obviously.  What makes you think that he shot at the police?

You fire a gun the penalty should be a harsh one. If a gun was not fired then fair enough

There's no "if" about it, he did not fire a gun.  If he had have done, it would have been reported in the OP.
