I was in the same gym as Debbie Flintoff-King when she was in training to win her gold medal at the 1988 Olympics. Even then, I was lifting weights similar to hers, and I was certainly no Olympian, just average fit male.

Remember an olympic athlete have maybe  above 1000 hours of training a year, while an amateur maybe put in 400 hours. 
 

As much you say you lift the same weight, it is about how often and how you perform the lift to reach your specific target.

yes i read this in the DM , its not a problem having a woman in the lead ,we  have had so many in the past,but now so many films an tv progs ,preach to us ,i dont know why they keep doing it ,i reckon its just to indoctrinate the young . well i cant be bothered to watch them .

People want to voluntarily change their gender are IMO welcome to do so at their own expense, but the long suffering taxpayer should not have to pay.

Had anyone suggested that the taxpayer should do so back when the NHS was started, they would have been laughed out of the room.

I'll bet Thailand doesn't give free gender changes to ladyboys, or for that matter the Americans.

Seems some think the NHS has a bottomless pit of money to use for anything.

From when I had my operation ( nothing to do with changing gender ) on the NHS they would be better spending the money on cleaning the wards which were filthy.

Never found ward cleaning to be a problem in any UK hospitals I went to, how long ago did you have an operation there?

Other than reading online stuff like this or hearing about it from left/right outlets, my daily life has not changed one bit due to anyone wanting to change their sex (the same for my family).  So no need for me to fret, worry, be concerned, etc.  IMO it's just more background nonsense from those on the far ends of the social spectrum.
