"New data analysis has revealed that if US Democratic voters were to make up their own country, it would have one of the world’s most vaccinated populations, with more than 91% of adults having received at least one shot.

Meanwhile, approximately 60% of Republican adults have received their first shot, according to data research by the New York Times."

"A total of 25 out of every 100,000 residents in counties that voted for DonaldTrump died of Covid in October, compared with the 7.8 per 100,000 in counties that voted heavily for Biden, according to the data analysis from the Times. October marked the fifth consecutive month that the percentage gap of death rates in red and blue counties widened.

Charles Gaba, an independent health care analyst, said that in October, the “reddest” tenth of the US saw death rates from coronavirus six times higher than the “bluest” tenth."

Who said these words?

Right! And the MAGA posters here have all been full steam on it in 2020, claiming it was an MSM and Dem hoax in order to generate hysteria, that it was only a flu, etc....

Rubbish - Trump encouraged fast vaccine R&D and production but it was still not vaccine available until Nov 2020.

Science and direct results? Bah humbug.

The vaccine push was good.

How was he on promoting mask use?

Let's keep in perspective that Trump did not sign operation warp speed until over 5 months after he knew about coronavirus being a pandemic. Oh, and the fact that he dismantled the very agency in the CDC which was tasked with pandemic preparedness. Because it was an Obama initiative. A crime against humanity.

I believe the topic is about the raid in Mar-a-logo, not Covid.  Please stay on topic.

"And then there’s this interesting tidbit: Ahead of A.G. MERRICK GARLAND’s news conference on Thursday, “a person close to Mr. Trump reached out to a Justice Department official to pass along a message from the former president to the attorney general. Mr. Trump wanted Mr. Garland to know that he had been checking in with people around the country and found them to be enraged by the search. The message Mr. Trump wanted conveyed, according to a person familiar with the exchange, was: ‘The country is on fire. What can I do to reduce the heat?’”

"‘The country is on fire. What can I do to reduce the heat?’"

If anyone is still unsure about who is on the right and wrong side of this awful raid, this move from Trump to do what is best for his beloved country - not for himself, is a definitive sign.

Maybe he shouldn't have ignited the fire and after that fanned the flames?

Presuming this is not the veiled threat it could also very well interpreted to be.

Did this offer come before or after Trump riled up his supporters with his angry tweets?

Just a suggestion but how about you stop pouring kerosine over everything you touch?

If this is true (and it's a big if) then why now? He has had months to return the materials in question, yet did nothing. He had a chance to show the warrant but chose not to. He could have not pointed the finger at the FBI thus putting agents lives at risk amid unprecedented threats to them and their families. He could have chosen not to insinuate 'planting' of evidence, but that's exactly what he did.

Any concilitory tone now reeks of self-preservation and that's if you are blind enough to see it that way as you could just as easily see this as a thinly veiled threat along the lines of 'you better back off as I'm the only one who can calm my rabid followers.'

He's running scared and it's beginning to show.

I think it is more likely Godfather-speak for "Let's negotiate", indicating that Trump is scared.

Your conclusions are way off.  Trump ALWAYS does things for himself and him alone.  This message from Trump can be construed as a threat, in legal terms, obstruction of justice.  He's trying to get AG Garland to turn this whole thing off, otherwise, the country will be torn apart.  Unfortunately for him, Trump is badly misreading Merrick Garland.  The guy follows the facts and the law, nothing else.

Exactly.  "Nice country you've got yourself here.  Be a shame if anything happened to it.  Like it burning down, or something."

This awful legal raid to recover stolen classified documents that the President refused to return and denied having.

A better indicator of Trump's patriotism came on January 6 when he watched his supporters riot and assault the Capitol while doing nothing to call them off.

It reads like a monster threat.

I’m sure it’s not the first ‘mobster threat’ the DoJ has come across.

Thanks for posting!
